Summary: My friend gave my this monitor because I had a very very old dell one that took up like half my desk. It was a similar screen size but this one may seem a bit bigger. The colors look good. No vertical view angle adjustments. 1280x1024 I'm just glad to have it for now.
Summary: This was recently purchased as a used monitor. It is also the old squarish shape (not wide). When it first came out it was rated highly and lives up to its billing. It arrived in good condition and fits my needs.
Summary: finally seller hasnt sent it so i cannot described it... Probably the SyncMaster 730B's strongest suite is its price tag, $430 CDN ($342 US). This 17" LCD display is very aggressively priced considering its panel specifications. Oddly, although the 730B supports both digital (DVI) and analog video connections, only the analog video cable is included with the package!?
Summary: I bought my 730B on eBay as a replacement to my old, tired but still working CRT monitor. Not until I pulled in the Syncmaster did I realize how tired and dimmed my old CRT was. The Samsung 17" was manufactured in 2005 but it looks as bright as I would expect a new would be. The color, response and viewing angles seem to be right on spec. I have no way of knowing how much the previous owner had used the monitor.
Summary: I've had this monitor for well over five years and haven't noticed any drop off in performance - used it nearly every day. Works great for gaming and easy on the eyes for reading. This is the best monitor I've owned; never a single issue. Flawless. Because of the quality of this monitor I recently purchased the Samsung PN50B650 50" Plasma TV and Samsung BD1250T all in one surround. Couldn't be happier with my purchases from Samsung.
