Summary: I've been using this monitor since early 2005 and it has been a great monitor for the last 10 years. No dead pixels, no ghosting, no fading, and no burn-in. It's just a good as it was when it was new.
Summary: My friend gave my this monitor because I had a very very old dell one that took up like half my desk. It was a similar screen size but this one may seem a bit bigger. The colors look good. No vertical view angle adjustments. 1280x1024 I'm just glad to have it for now.
Summary: This was recently purchased as a used monitor. It is also the old squarish shape (not wide). When it first came out it was rated highly and lives up to its billing. It arrived in good condition and fits my needs.
Summary: I've had this monitor for well over five years and haven't noticed any drop off in performance - used it nearly every day. Works great for gaming and easy on the eyes for reading. This is the best monitor I've owned; never a single issue. Flawless.
Summary: I bought two SyncMaster 730b monitors a while back. I've been very happy with the monitors ... while they lasted. One died about 6 months ago, the other two days ago. I don't have the exact purchase date handy, but it seems to me that these things have died outside their warranty but WAY before...
Summary: I'm not a monitor or LCD aficionado/guru, but this is my experience: This Samsung LCD monitor works fine as a general purpose monitor, just like any other LCD or CRT monitor. I use the analog input and that works fine for me.
Summary: 2nd 730b for dual display, set up digital this time. Analog and digital hard to distinguish every day use, digital terrific with high power graphics card like ATI 1900 Radeon. Make sure you get the right digtital DVI cable (single link) since its not included.
Summary: As this is my first LCD Monitor I really wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality of text and images. I have replaced my Viewsonic CRT with the 730B and after using it for only a week so far I find the images and text very sharp and easy to see.
