Conclusion: When it comes to Samsung monitors, we have come to expect great picture quality and throughout the two months I had it, the SyncMaster 305T met and in many cases exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I plugged this monitor in (with a proper DVI cable that is) I was absolutely stunned again and again by the magic that Samsung has conjured with a pre-calibrated monitor.
Summary: Samsung's SyncMaster 305T is pricey, but it's within the range of what other 30in LCDs cost. If you seek a monitor on which to spread out and see lots of documents at once, the 305T would be a fine choice.
Summary: The Samsung 305T offers excellent, professional build quality and comes with four USB ports and an ergonomic height-adjustable stand. With an RRP of $2299.95 this is certainly a pricey peripheral, but if you search around you can find it on sale for less than $2000, which then compares favourably with 30in competitors from Dell and Apple. Hazro's model costs a lot less, but comes without the height adjustable stand or USB ports.
Pros: Good colour range, S-PVA means wide viewing angles
Excerpt: The frame’s plain black bezel isn’t much different to that found on Eizo’s FlexScan SX3031W , but it has little details that give an overall impression of class. This class, however, doesn’t justify the 305T costing £150 more than Apple’s monitor, as in use they’re very similar.
