Wont turn on

Summary: I have had this monitor for just over a year. The picture was great, but over the last month when I would turn it on the volume adjustment menu would come on and not go away unless I turned it off and on with the power switch on the back. Now it won't turn on at all. The frustrating thing is that the monitor works great when it is on, but some engineer somewhere thought this stupid touch sensitive menu thing was a good idea and now I can't turn the thing on.
Summary: I bought this monitor on Samsung's excellent reputation for LCD technology. The picture looks great, and can definitely not complain about that. My primary goal was photo editing, and buying this monitor has been a HUGE mistake. I can not get a steady calibration for the life of me. My photos look dark and dingy on any other monitor after hours of workup.
Summary: After a LOT of research, decided to go with this, based in large part on my take that Samsung is superior quality. Build quality seems fine. Adjustable stand is great. Surprisingly, though, I've been disappointed with the image quality. I've tinkered with it for hours, and still can't get the color vibrancy I want (and have on a smaller Viewsonic, or my old Apple Cinema Display 24"). Colors appear washed out, no matter what I do.

Ich benutze daher momentan die Auflösung 1680x1050, was aber für die Schriften nicht optimal ist. Kleineres Problem: Die Beschriftung der Bedienelemente (Menü, Source...
