Best monitor at any price

Summary: I already had two of these excellent monitors, and one blew a fuse. I took it apart and replaced the fuse and have had no more problems with it. At the time it was several years old with many thousands of hours of use, so it's not a reliability issue. It has worked just fine ever since. But in trying to find a suitable replacement, I could find nothing even close to the price range that was half the monitor of the Samsung 2693HM.
Summary: Excellent purchase on eBay! I purchased this product to serve as backup for a unit I already own (and love). Side-by-side this is exactly like mine but brighter (which means that two years of use of my "old" one has dimmed the brightness a bit). Very satisfied.
Summary: I have tried all types of monitors but this time, I wanted a very large display with popping images and colors, great text for long viewing sessions and I also wanted something that would look good on my desk. I was also hoping to find a display that had swivel and pivot features. This Samsung 26" monitor (if you can find it) is fantastic and fits all of my requirements mentioned.
Summary: Zero star rating. I could not post this without 1 star rating. When it is working, it is one of the finest monitors I've ever had. It blinks, cuts out, goes blank for unpredictable times. WORTHLESS and can't send it back for what it's worth. Impossible to do any project or web surfing. This happens with all computers and different cables....so it is in the monitor itself. If someone wants a large monitor, mine is free for the pick up....but don't waste your time and gas.
Summary: New Edit: After using this monitor well over a year, I must say, at this point I don't want anything else. The complaint someone made about it graying at the top may have something to do with the visor on his head. J/K. Yes, there is very minimal change when tilting the monitor up and down. But once it's set, I love it. It displays Blu-ray quite well with HDMI cable and I do plenty of PS image modification with it.
Summary: I purchased this monitor to have a large display that I could use in portrait mode. I used it at the office to show client presentations and it works great and provides a large enough screen to view from a few feet away. This is exactly what I wanted. The only draw back is the angle of view has to be pretty straight on when in portrait mode or the colors do not appear correctly. This is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
Summary: THE MOST HARM DONE TO MY CUSTOMER SUPPORT VIEW OF SAMSUNG PRODUCTS IS THE ABANDONMENT OF RESPOSIBLITY TO TO REPAIR THE BD-P1200 FIREWARE SCREW-UP .. I PAID AROUND $500 FOR THE BD-P1200 .. ABT. A FEW MONTHS OUT OF WARRANTY A FIRMWARE UPDATE LEFT MY PLAYER NON-OPERATIONAL .. ALL PLAYERS SHOULD OF BEEN RECALLED .. BUYER SHOULD HIRE A LAWYER BEFORE BUYING SAMSUNG PRODUCTS .. HA! HA! WHERE IS SAMSUNG LOYALTY TO THE EARLY ADAPTER CUSTOMERS ..
Summary: I have had this monitor for just over a year. The picture was great, but over the last month when I would turn it on the volume adjustment menu would come on and not go away unless I turned it off and on with the power switch on the back. Now it won't turn on at all. The frustrating thing is that the monitor works great when it is on, but some engineer somewhere thought this stupid touch sensitive menu thing was a good idea and now I can't turn the thing on.
Summary: I absolutely love this monitor! I did read a review previously posted that the color was a little bright(which is true). I purchased this monitor last year at Best Buy for about $320... Looking at the prices, I should have purchased 2!!!
Summary: I have owned this monitor for nearly a year and I still love it. It sat next to a 24" Samsung for quite a while and is now my only monitor. The brightness is a little much and can't really be tweaked, the color is off somewhat and there's a lot of back light bleed through at the edges. The controls are abysmal and that coupled with the monitor not working with a Samsung DVD player on DVI is why it only got 4 stars.
