Good office monitor.

Summary: Bright, very high contrast picture giving photographs an unreal quality. Colors only six bits and not comparable with a Samsung 214T that's a few years old. The viewing angle is narrower than claimed at first, but gets wider with a few days time.
Summary: I bought this monitor on Samsung's excellent reputation for LCD technology. The picture looks great, and can definitely not complain about that. My primary goal was photo editing, and buying this monitor has been a HUGE mistake. I can not get a steady calibration for the life of me.
Summary: I have owned this monitor for nearly a year and I still love it. It sat next to a 24" Samsung for quite a while and is now my only monitor. The brightness is a little much and can't really be tweaked, the color is off somewhat and there's a lot of back light bleed through at the edges.
Summary: I wanted to replace my 22" (1620 wide native resolution) monitor with a larger monitor (1920 wide) to get more stuff on the screen. I am a software developer and need to have multiple applications open on the screen.
Summary: The 2693 has a great black and that makes everything else so much better. I've been using several other monitors (19, 20, 22") which, except for the 19" L90D+, have poor black, and make things muddy looking.
Summary: I'm not a monitor expert, but I love this one. I wanted a 26 inch that would rotate & this one does a great job. The rotate software doesn't seem to work with my system, but I simply click 90-degree rotate on my NVIDIA video card menu & it works fine.
Summary: This monitor is awesome. I have my computer and my DVD player hooked up to it. I can easily switch between the two sources. With both inputs the picture is great. I have been buying two 20" monitors, but now am replacing my duals with this monitor.
Summary: I'm planning on purchasing this monitor and have done plenty of research on a lot of the 24-26 inch monitors...Samsung, Viewsonic, Sceptre and others. First off....this monitor is Vista compliant....which means this monitor is HCDP compliant.
Summary: Bought this monitor after reading several reviews at different websites. Here's my take: -People that make a big deal about the dim monitor touch controls on the lower right of the bezel are blowing things WAY out of proportion. I mean, how often do you need to adjust your monitor anyways?
Summary: I have to say this monitor is very pleasing after using it about 5 days for a few hours each day. The screen has a pleasing amount of matte texture, not too glossy so as to add glare, but not to matte so as to muddy up the video.
