Summary: Nice product. Recieved in good condition and good time. I had one bad deal with shipping from Overstock once, but their the kind of company that will make it right whatever it takes. Two Thumbs Up!!!
Summary: This monitor has been good, but a little bright as an extended desktop for my computer. I've been less satisfied with using the monitor as a TV -- sound is less good, volume buttons are hard to use (it's easy to do the wrong thing like change the source), and you can't program a remote control to change volume or turn it on/off. Multiple input modes make this seem promising for many uses, but it's not!
Summary: Many of these 24" refurbished Samsung monitors are appearing on Ebay for around $210 each, and I was wondering why? So I took a chance at work and bought two of them as replacements. One laptop user LOVES having a giant, clear screen with bigger speakers built in. He is reading a lot of online papers right now, and the extra size allows him to turn up the viewable size of pdf's to 200%. The screen is also outstanding for a video conferencing application he uses daily.
Summary: This is a great monitor. I have not yet tried the HDMI on it, but the 1920 X 1080 is great using both the analog and digital inputs. I found the monitor cheaper with free shipping and with double the warranty offered by Overstock, but they would not give me the reduced price. Next time I'll look at the other on-line seller first.
Summary: Got my monitor on time in a refurb box with all the cables the stand was a lil scratched up but that can always be replaced. The monitor itself look flawless!! I love my new monitor and would buy another if I had the cash to blow. Samsung make good products and I would def recommend this monitor to anyone seeking to upgrade. Price was in my budget and that's what matter to me. Would buy again from overstock no doubt about it! 4 stars due to the stand being scratched.
Summary: I've had this monitor for just under 6 months now. The size is great for 1080p, anything smaller on the diagonal and the dot pitch would be too small for me to view comfortably without leaning in (I wear contacts usually, glasses occasionally, basic nearsightedness @ -2.00, nothing special). Note that 1080p is 1920x1080. Some tags associated with this listing incorrectly say 1920x1200.
Summary: Purchased one of these to replace another Samsung 4:3. Not a lot of bells and whistles; but I was only shopping for a monitor. Extremely vivid screen. I have it set to Max 1920x1080 and it is crystal clear as you expect. The factory setting at 100% is almost too bright. I backed if off to match my MacBook that is driving the monitor. The speakers are weak. Weaker than a notebook. Even at 100% they don't put out much volume.
