It is a great product which appears durable.

Summary: I bought this product because the view-able area is bigger than recent models. Touch switch is great. Auto screen blanking is good. Initial turn on screen response appears a bit slow. This product would be essential to older models of computers.
Summary: I bought 3 of these monitors in mid 2009. All 3 of them died within the first year. Samsung offered to replace with refurbished items, but the replacements all had dead pixels. That being said these monitors are great while they last. Exceptionally clear picture and great color accuracy, smooth motion, nice form. But at this price (about $5o0 each, new), I expected better durability.
Summary: I've had this monitor for just under 6 months now. The size is great for 1080p, anything smaller on the diagonal and the dot pitch would be too small for me to view comfortably without leaning in (I wear contacts usually, glasses occasionally, basic nearsightedness @ -2.00, nothing special). Note that 1080p is 1920x1080. Some tags associated with this listing incorrectly say 1920x1200.
Summary: I took a lot of time to research a good all purpose monitor and found this was a good bang for the buck..nice pix, no dead pixels and very versatile in horizontal and vertical positions... ive read a lot of people complain about the touch controls.. get over it already, this has not been a problem whatsoever. if youre looking for them in pitch black then yes , its an issue....
Summary: I just bought a new gaming PC and wanted the right monitor to complement the system. I was happy with 20" Apple Cinema display, but wanted something bigger. After doing some research, I came across this particular monitor. I was comparing this monitor with Samsung's 245T and was surprised to find out that this monitor outperformed the 245T and was roughly half the price. I use this monitor for gaming only and so far it's amazing.

Gorgeous monitor. 24 diagonal inches of eye candy.

Summary: What can I say? This monitor is AWESOME! This is the first time I ever had to push the monitor BACK. I'm used to leaning forward to get close to the screen but not with this bad boy. Backlighting appears totally consistent all over its huge area. I'm pushing the beast with a beast of a double-stack graphics card too. The stand is great because it is so adjustable in height, tilt and rotation.
Summary: Great Monitor... no dead pixels, great ratio, Great Viewing range, good brightness(but had to turn auto brightness off) good stand, good inputs. It does get a little hot, and the buttons are impossible to see while the monitor is on, but the touch interface added a "cool factor" Overall.... don't buy that dell you were looking at..
