   The only other gripe I have with this display is that the contrast ratio (which clearly isn't 10,000:1, though it claims to be) and response time (5 ms) are engraved in the top right corner of the bezel. So much for subtlety. Samsung obviously put lots of TLC into designing this SyncMaster, but the constant visual reminder of the unit's response time seems tacky. Still, this is a great monitor at an average price--and that's a winning combination. Read more

   You're not going to find a better 24" monitor at anywhere near this price. So long as you plan to use it with external speakers and can memorize that the power "button" is on the far right bottom then this is an amazing monitor. The touch-sensitive "buttons" are not buttons at all, just areas on the bottom right of the frame that you touch to power the monitor on/off and/or switch inputs, etc. That's futuristic and high tech, I guess, but a bit of a pain to use in...
