Summary: I bought this monitor to replace an old Apple LCD monitor which had become faded and low in contrast. I use it as a second monitor to hold software "tool palettes" and to view video rough & final cuts. I calibrate all my monitors and profile them by making an ICC for every monitor in my studio.
Summary: This is my first LCD monitor after using an old NEC Graphics CRT monitor for 5 years. Resolution is much higher, the screen is large enough for me to see multiple work areas at a time and to my amazement watching the high def feeds from the Olympic Games in enlarged mode is fantastic.
Summary: If you are a graphic designer, photographer or just someone who wants a high quality monitor that can produce consistent color, and has a wide viewing angles, this is for you. This has a S-PVA panel, which is far superior to cheaper TN LCD panels used in less costly monitors.
