User Review

8 February 2012
  • Summary: Pushing two of these with a 3gb 580GTX via DVI cables. Also running Actual Multiple Monitors (awesome multi-monitor software). It's getting harder to find 24" 1920x1200 monitors out there.
  • Pros: Great 16:10 monitor. Samsung makes a quality monitor. Using two of these at home. Love the screen space with 1920x1200. Use these for productivity and gaming.
  • Cons: Some people don't like the fact that these do not have HDMI or display port. Not an issue for me.

Great Monitors

Sarah F., Newegg
12 December 2011
  • Summary: These are super duper for most everyone. I'm not going to spend $550 on a 24 inch IPS panel LCD.
  • Pros: Great 1900x1200 monitors, I have a bunch of older 245BW monitors at clients going strong but these are the replacements now. Running three in widescreen. Glad they are back in production.
  • Cons: First manufactured in 2008 so no Displayport... but not really needed. Get the Accell adapter for Eyefinity if you need it . Also be aware this IS a TN pane but then again it's not $600. For 90 percent of us these are great. Sure is better than a 1994 Viewsonic 17 inch CRT (still got one).

Awesome

Michael T., Newegg

  • Pros: This monitor has been great. The widescreen display is what I was going for. Have had no problems so far.
  • Cons: The pillar holding the display seems delicate but everything's been good so far.

Nothing but praise

Daniel-NewEgg L., Newegg
5 November 2011
  • Summary: I've bought nothing but Samsung LCD monitors and have had great luck (five total). Never had a stuck or dead pixel, and all are working great. My oldest is from late 2008 and these three get over 40 hours of use each week (I work from home).
  • Pros: For a 24" monitor, this one is a great purchase. The plastic around the monitor is matte, not glossy like my other Samsung monitors. I think I like the matte better - not as much reflection, and doesn't show dust nearly as much.
  • Cons: None that I can speak of.

  • Summary: Still editing videos and photos without any color issues. My calibration Spyder still does not need to tweak this monitor much to keep it dead on. Viewing Angle: I have not noticed any problems here unles I am into a gmae and sitting too close, or if Im laying on the floor...
  • Pros: STILL CRISP, RELIABLE, COLORS STILL STRONG AND ACURATE.
  • Cons: Still havent bought a secong one... :(

A Stunning Display

Shaun B., Newegg
12 June 2011
  • Summary: You'll want to change the factory settings, the brightness and contrast levels are off.
  • Pros: I ordered two of these monitors for a dual-screen setup, just stunning picture quality. I previously owned a 22" Samsung, but the upgrade to WUXGA (1920 x 1200) was well worth the price.
  • Cons: None so far, and don't expect any either.

Nice monitor fits well into Existing dual monitor config

Douglas T., Newegg
21 April 2011
  • Summary: Currently have dual Samsung monitors, added this one as an third for an eyefinity setup. Works great. I was able to set the color/contrast/brightness to match the others perfectly. I even put this one in the middle and I cannot tell that it is not an "original" purchase with the other two monitors.
  • Pros: Able to fine tune color/contrast/brightness.
  • Cons: None.

Great Monitor

Scott H., Newegg
11 April 2011
  • Summary: I have owned a number of different brands of monitors over the years. This one has only been with me for a few days now but it is everything I expected it to be. I replaced two 4:3 format 20 inch Samsung monitors with this single monitor.
  • Pros: - Tilt and Swivel functionality is a high point - Good color controls - 1920/1200 resolution
  • Cons: - None so far
