Summary: This is a very attractive piece of hardware, but on setting it up there was a persistent pattern of fine vertical green lines that appeared when ever certain light colors were intended to be displayed.
Faulty Product and Vendor would not take it back for 100% refund.

Summary: I bought this item back in September 11, 2009. The first monitor arrived and I reported problems immediately. The focus and refresh of the display is inconsistent as blurt on the top and less brightness toward the bottom of the screen. Called Legend Micro and they agreed to swap the monitor.
Summary: BUYER BEWARE!!! SAMSUNG HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY. I purchased this monitor in August 2008 and within 3 months it had a bright pink line going down the middle of it. I was 4 days past the 3 month warranty so Samsung would only give me a refurbished monitor.
Summary: I have worked for the last hour trying to get the stand installed. I am an IT Manager. I know my computer perphials. The mounting hardware comes with a football shaped insert that is, according to the picture, inserted into the base of the monitor itself.
