Summary: This is a very attractive piece of hardware, but on setting it up there was a persistent pattern of fine vertical green lines that appeared when ever certain light colors were intended to be displayed.
Faulty Product and Vendor would not take it back for 100% refund.

Summary: I bought this item back in September 11, 2009. The first monitor arrived and I reported problems immediately. The focus and refresh of the display is inconsistent as blurt on the top and less brightness toward the bottom of the screen. Called Legend Micro and they agreed to swap the monitor.
Summary: I currently own 3 Samsung products and will never buy another one. Samsung's quality leaves something to be desired.
Pros: Its a 24" monitor. Samsung Tech support answered after 35 min and were very nice.
Cons: The stand is a joke. Read about it online. :P The auto source doesn't work well. The power supply for the backlight died after 10 months. Just called Samsung tech support and arranged an RMA; would rather take the thing out and shoot it.
Summary: I purchased the 2433BW on May.21, 2009. After six weeks the monitor developed four colored lines from top to bottom of screen. Samsung sent me a refurbished one that my Wife said, (Oh My!, Who used sand paper to clean the frame and stand, that is horrible).
Pros: OK, for basic computing, Black level decent for a TN panel. If you buy one make sure you have a back up monitor.
Cons: Blurry Text. Worst Quality Control and Customer Service I have ever experienced in my 52 years. Good thing I have other monitors.. I build computers and install home theater systems for a living. I will never purchase or recommend Samsung products again.
Summary: Per Samsung policy, if the monitors fail within the first three months they claim you're entitled to new replacements. So far they have sent me two refurbished units. Normally I wouldn't mind, but after spending over six hundred and fifty dollars, I would like to enjoy something new for more than...
Pros: Bright display, vivid colors, excellent with games.
Cons: I purchased two of these monitors and both failed within three months with red vertical lines.
Summary: This is the SECOND MONITOR IN A ROW that I had bought from Samsung that I had to ship back for repairs within a year of ownership. The first monitor was a 22inch LCD that started flickering when turned on, which got progressively worse over time.
Pros: Low price for high resolution and relatively large screen.
Cons: Poor quality control!! After 90 days a 1 pixel wide yellow line appeared near the right side of the screen that ran up and down the entire height. This type of defect was temperature dependent and more lines (blue and pink) would appear when the monitor had been turned off for sometime in a chill...
Summary: BUYER BEWARE!!! SAMSUNG HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY. I purchased this monitor in August 2008 and within 3 months it had a bright pink line going down the middle of it. I was 4 days past the 3 month warranty so Samsung would only give me a refurbished monitor.
Summary: It's ironic that the developer demos for the ATI cards that they recommend using for this monitor CANNOT BE WATCHED on it. According to technical support, the nag CANNOT BE TURNED OFF, it is designed that way.
Pros: Nice bright monitor. Well maybe too bright, but deep rich colors. Supports 1900x1200 resolution @ 60Hz
Cons: I have a Radeon 4870 1GB connected to this monitor. This monitor will not display any of the ATI Demos from the ATI AMD developer site. The "Not optimum resolution" nag will display, but will disappear temporarily by pressing one of the buttons on the side. After continuing to watch the demo for ...
Summary: When you see the price, add in the cost of return shipping because you'll need to send it back due to it's poor quality. Newegg, will you ever add return to LCDs? How about a single exchange for a similar item?
Pros: Stimulates the economy.
Cons: I ordered this monitor 3 weeks ago and have been a strong Samsung consumer but it ends today. This monitor has backlight bleeding, color issues and viewing angle issues. It arrived with a dead pixel, it rattles, and the VESA mounting screw holes are internally covered up. To add insult to injury,...
