Summary: This monitor is crap. Research it before you buy it. I also purchased mine at Sam's Club. just after 1 year, it developed a few bright vertical lines down the side of the monitor. After a few more months, the lines represent about 1/5th of the right side of the monitor. Sam's offers so resolution. It's over a year. Samsung as a whole, is for crap these days. I also had a Blu Ray DVD player that crapped out 6 months after buying it.
Summary: This is a very attractive piece of hardware, but on setting it up there was a persistent pattern of fine vertical green lines that appeared when ever certain light colors were intended to be displayed. In an effort to identify the problem, I attached the monitor to three differnt computers running 32-bit Vista,Windows XP, or Windows 7 and to a computer running 64-bit Vista.
Faulty Product and Vendor would not take it back for 100% refund.

Summary: I bought this item back in September 11, 2009. The first monitor arrived and I reported problems immediately. The focus and refresh of the display is inconsistent as blurt on the top and less brightness toward the bottom of the screen. Called Legend Micro and they agreed to swap the monitor. Well, they did not SWAP as promised, they waited until I ship back the monitor before they send the replacement.
Summary: Hi, I ordered a SyncMaster2433BW, I received the monitor without any manual and after opening the box the monitor looks like old one or 2nd hand I ordered refurbished not old, I am not happy with deals stop's product.

Summary: Got this monitor at work through CDW and within a month-and-a-half multi-colored lines started appearing on the right hand side of the monitor, and a new line or two shows up every couple of days on their steady march towards the center. My IT guy called CDW but they only warranty stuff for 30 days, so he had to contact Samsung directly. That was 4 weeks ago and Samsung has not responded to the many emails he's sent and it appears there is no direct support number.
Summary: BUYER BEWARE!!! SAMSUNG HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY. I purchased this monitor in August 2008 and within 3 months it had a bright pink line going down the middle of it. I was 4 days past the 3 month warranty so Samsung would only give me a refurbished monitor. The replacement arrived and the on/off and menu buttons only worked intermittently. Within in another month the same pink line had developed down the middle of the second monitor.
Summary: Samsung 2433BW screen might look good, but I will never know. The stand installation into the monitor was, for me, impossible. I read reviews online after buying it and failing to get it inserted into the monitor that said to be forceful. I've got base stand imprints on my hands. It still never "popped" into place as they claim it will. I am returning it on Saturday. I can spend my $377 on a better monitor.
Summary: I have worked for the last hour trying to get the stand installed. I am an IT Manager. I know my computer perphials. The mounting hardware comes with a football shaped insert that is, according to the picture, inserted into the base of the monitor itself. It does not go in properly with the rubber gasket. I tried removing the gasket and it flops around and is unsafe. The whole experience of having the monitor was to use it on my desk. The manual is worthless.
