used monitor a great surprise.

Summary: I purchased this from a reputable dealer as used. Hoping for a fair monitor, due to the price. Wow it was a great buy. Monitor simple and sleek and full of features. It has added superb dimension to my computing experience. If you buy a Samsung you will be impressed.
Summary: I am using this monitor with my 17" MacBook Pro for my graphic design and it is a great match - big clean and the detail is beautiful @ 1920x1200. I have moved up from a 21" screen to this 24" and I thought is would seem much bigger, but it is not drastically bigger so it an easy adjustment. I bought mine as a refurb in great condition for $179, so for the price you can't go wrong with this monitor considering the quality.
Summary: I was a little hesitant to order this monitor because it was refurbished. I decided to give it a try because I wanted the higher resolution this monitor offers compared to most of the new 24" models. The price was great as well. I ended up ordering two of these. They arrived fairly quickly, packed well, and they looked great out of the box. I plugged them in and turned them on and they looked beautiful. No dead pixels and everything crystal clear.
Summary: This is my second 2433BW. The picture quality is great and works well for gaming. Since the one I just got was refurbished, the case and frame are scratched pretty bad. I'm not sure how someone could do this, but since the LCD is fine, I'm Ok with it. Older 2433BWs do not have the "BW" on the front of the monitor on the upper left - but the model number should say 2433BW on the back. The newer ones do. Hence my confusion when I got an older refurbished one.
Summary: I swapped an older samsung 24" for a new Acer 24" w/ similar specs. It was awful. The color of the Acer just can't compare to the samsung. After a couple days i just couldn't take it anymore I ordered this Samsung from Overstock and am so glad to be back w/ Samsung. If the Acer was all i ever knew probably not a big deal, but to go from a Samsug to the Acer just couldn't do it even thou i was saving some money.
