used monitor a great surprise.

Summary: I purchased this from a reputable dealer as used. Hoping for a fair monitor, due to the price. Wow it was a great buy. Monitor simple and sleek and full of features. It has added superb dimension to my computing experience. If you buy a Samsung you will be impressed.
Summary: When I first got this monitor I loved it. Bright and big. But the stand is not well designed and seems too small to safely support the monitor. It was difficult to force the stand into the bottom of the monitor when putting it together and I thought I might break it. After some use, I realized that the TFT screen changes dramatically when viewed from different angles. You must look at this monitor straight on, or there is dramatic color shift.
Summary: I am using this monitor with my 17" MacBook Pro for my graphic design and it is a great match - big clean and the detail is beautiful @ 1920x1200. I have moved up from a 21" screen to this 24" and I thought is would seem much bigger, but it is not drastically bigger so it an easy adjustment. I bought mine as a refurb in great condition for $179, so for the price you can't go wrong with this monitor considering the quality.
Summary: This monitor is crap. Research it before you buy it. I also purchased mine at Sam's Club. just after 1 year, it developed a few bright vertical lines down the side of the monitor. After a few more months, the lines represent about 1/5th of the right side of the monitor. Sam's offers so resolution. It's over a year. Samsung as a whole, is for crap these days. I also had a Blu Ray DVD player that crapped out 6 months after buying it.
Summary: I was a little hesitant to order this monitor because it was refurbished. I decided to give it a try because I wanted the higher resolution this monitor offers compared to most of the new 24" models. The price was great as well. I ended up ordering two of these. They arrived fairly quickly, packed well, and they looked great out of the box. I plugged them in and turned them on and they looked beautiful. No dead pixels and everything crystal clear.
Summary: I bought this 2433BW LCD and overall am quite happy with it. Bright vibrant colors, huge resolution 1920x1200 i.e. 16:10, and not the smaller, now more frequently available 1920x1080. Seems like most manufacturers have gone on to the 16:9 format which I think perhaps is the movie screen format. I use my LCD for PC work. I already have 3 Samsung LCDs (2 of them are the Samsung 226BW - 1680x1080) hooked up with one viewsonic.
Summary: This is my second 2433BW. The picture quality is great and works well for gaming. Since the one I just got was refurbished, the case and frame are scratched pretty bad. I'm not sure how someone could do this, but since the LCD is fine, I'm Ok with it. Older 2433BWs do not have the "BW" on the front of the monitor on the upper left - but the model number should say 2433BW on the back. The newer ones do. Hence my confusion when I got an older refurbished one.
