    I purchased this T.V. from Costco and left it in the box for about 6 months before deciding to mount it on the kitchen wall. All well and good for about two months and then I discovered a thin yellow vertical line on the picture. It is intermittant and does not do it all the time but it is sure irritating. I guess I will call Samsung Customer Service (good luck with that) and see what they might say. Read more

    Dual functions (TV & Monitor) provide excellent features for the price. Quality construction and solid feel and look. Excellent picture for monitor and HDTV. VESA mounted on arm allows excellent adjustment to optimal viewing at all times. Samsung is a manufacturer of excellent reputation. We have owned numerous Samsung products with zero complaints.     Just going to do a relatively short review on this product as it is at least 2 years old now, but feel a few things need to be said about it incase anyone is thinking of picking one of these up second hand or refurbished. I bought this TV about 2 years ago, initially to be used as a PC monitor but also doubling up as a conservatory TV. Read more

The Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD features a stylish black 23-inch widescreen LCD display that comes with an integrated power supply combined with 16:9 aspect ratio, 16.7 million colors, a brightness level of 250 cd/m2, 5ms response rate which able to provide unblemished images, 1920-by-1080 full high definition resolution, and also equipped with a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1. It is also designed with programmable custom keys which allows a one-touch access control of the monitor such as the MagicBright³ that enables you to automatically optimizes brightness, contrast, and gamma correction; MagicColor that enhances the overall color with color effects that allows user to view images whether in grayscale, green, aqua or sepia; plus also an image size for viewing either 5:4 or 4:3 content on the monitor without distortion.     I want to hook up external speakers to this TV because I also use it as my desktop PC monitor. The sound quality is marginal at best and I wanted to utilize my existing Boston Acoustics setup............but I can't seem to make the connection...cables, ports ???

    There is a headphone connection under a door on the left side of the monitor. That would work for the sound is already coming from the monitor/TV. There is no computer sound in the computers serial monitor connection. There is on the HDMI though. So it could work to use the headphone port after the computer sound is in the
