An Amazingly Clear Monitor That I Would Recommend To Anyone
2 August 2011
Summary: Just got this monitor today. I connected it using the VGA cable and am totally impressed by the picture clarity. I can only imagine that it would be even better using the DVI connection (which my current desktop does not support). I'm very happy with this monitor and would recommend it to you.
Summary: This is a great monitor, I had purchased it because my old Samsung 171v's power source burnt out.Searched on ebay for weeks for a great deal and finally found it.Was using my TV as a monitor in the mean time, just got sick of having to turn from computer to tv shows back and forth etc.The 2232 BW is HOT nice Large screen for excellent game play colors are slightly weird if your sitting below it though but its not exactly on a desk.So on a scale of 1 - 10 I'd give this a...
Summary: I love it!! the samsung is bright and has the options to make it your own. It's made for windows vista and that is my system. couldn't be happier with it. I bought my whole setup on ebay and payed the fraction of retail, I LOVE EBAY!!!!!!
Summary: Whilst i can't grumble at the picture quality of this monitor , the con's far outweigh the pro's. The resolution is a modest 1680 x 1050 and worse of all the monitor is sooooooo wobbly. I have a solid mahogany desk, never had any problems with any other monitors but this things is infuriating. You'll notice from the design that the bezel is mounted at the bottom rather than up near the upper half of the monitor.
Summary: I'm comparing this to a 20 inch Belinea and a 24 inch samsung monitor I also have. I got this one for University because it was fairly cheap for what it is. There's no image lag that I can see and it's fine for desktop work. It's also the only monitor I have that hasn't got a dead pixel yet, and I've been using it for over a year. However, there are a couple of things I've noticed about this monitor. It makes a quiet, airy sound on standby mode.
Summary: Fantastic product from Samsung. bought a couple of days ago, 1 dead pixel right in the top left of the screen (right out the way so not an issue at all, in fact most people probably wouldn't spot it at all!) The monitor is gorgeous to look at, however as many people have said getting the stand in place is an absolute joke (how hard do you want to push against your new monitors screen?
Summary: At this price I had no problem with putting my money where my mouth was and going for this product. You would expect a product from Samsung to be quality and this does not let you down: no dead pixels, superb colour, very good contrast. For standard pc work this is a superb monitor at the original asking price; discounted as it is through Amazon and Pixmania, and compared to other monitors at around the same price, it is quite phenomenal.
Summary: Recently bought this monitor for my HP PC. Can't really fault it in any way. Quality build as with all Samsung products. Excellant picture. Stand is NOT difficult to attach to screen unless you are some kind of retard! Isn't height adjustable but you can tip it forwards or backwards. I bought it when it was on offer for £169.99 which was cheaper than a lot of the lesser brands and smaller sizes.
Summary: Decided to upgrade to a 22" widescreen to replace my faultering 3 year old 19" screen. Intially I was planning to replace with a 19" widescreen, but quickly realised that this 22" samsung screen was only £40 more. Very impressed with the screem image, but found the assembly of the stand a little quirky.
