An Amazingly Clear Monitor That I Would Recommend To Anyone
2 August 2011
Summary: Just got this monitor today. I connected it using the VGA cable and am totally impressed by the picture clarity. I can only imagine that it would be even better using the DVI connection (which my current desktop does not support). I'm very happy with this monitor and would recommend it to you.
Summary: This is a great monitor, I had purchased it because my old Samsung 171v's power source burnt out.Searched on ebay for weeks for a great deal and finally found it.Was using my TV as a monitor in the mean time, just got sick of having to turn from computer to tv shows back and forth etc.The 2232 BW is HOT nice Large screen for excellent game play colors are slightly weird if your sitting below it though but its not exactly on a desk.So on a scale of 1 - 10 I'd give this a...
Summary: I love it!! the samsung is bright and has the options to make it your own. It's made for windows vista and that is my system. couldn't be happier with it. I bought my whole setup on ebay and payed the fraction of retail, I LOVE EBAY!!!!!!
Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW: Great monitor, outdated, don't buy full price for new.

Summary: This is a great monitor. Ever since I purchased it I have played all my games and movies in great quality. This has everything a great monitor needs, great refresh time, good contrast ratio and the thing looks very nice on the outside too :). The monitor is just plug in and play and works out the box. The monitor comes with both VGA and DVI cables and plugs into computers with both. The auto adjust feature works very well and the menu's are well set out.
Pros: Great specs, looks brilliant, cleans up well.
Cons: Older monitor, don't buy new and at full price.
Excerpt: "...which happened to be this Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW. I was absolutely delighted - and I think, in order to understand my instant love of this monitor, you should perhaps know what I was working with before - an 8 year old, 15 inch, CRT monitor that had, at one point, been a gleaming white, but that was now decidedly beige, and covered in stickers applied by daughter . The thing was an eyesore - and it didn't work that brilliantly either, with loose ...
Pros: clear colour, no bleeding, fast response, pretty
Summary: This monitor is a neat little thing (well, not tiny obviously!) and doesn't disappoint. Samsung have struck onto a winner here and I am sure they know it. This screen will fit into a number of different markets; the gamers, families, people who watch a lot of videos on the web, gadget lovers and people who like something to not only work, but look attractive as well. This is an all-rounder, even if the price is a little bit steep.
Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW: Great monitor for the price

Summary: I got this monitor for around £190 about a year and a half ago. Great purchase, very happy with it so far. At first I was surprised at the size, was larger than I imagined. I soon got used to the size and wouldn't go for a smaller monitor now. The picture is clear and is great for watching a DVD, playing on the Xbox or browsing the web. The quality is good and I haven't had any faults with it so far. It seems like it will last a long time.
DON"T BUY IT - Otherwise, better buy the warrenty...

Excerpt: "I purchased a SAMSUNG SYNC Master 2232 BW Plus on August 16, 2008. Purchased the Screen for a bit over $ 300 (US$) Exactly 1 year and 1 month later, it started "flashes". Originally it was fast flashes for 2-5 seconds in total length and then everything was okay... but soon after (a few weeks) it was flashing for over 1 minute and at times it started blacking out. Blackouts for over 2-5 minutes in length. I read on the subject only to find out that ...
Pros: Read good reviews about it, Clear Screen
Cons: GOOD chances it will have an Internal Circuit problem and have flashes (after warranty expired)
Summary: I love this monitor! I bought it at Curry's when it was on offer for £190 and it's a purchase I do not regret. Before it, I had a 15" 4:3 monitor , which now seems very small in comparison. Widescreen monitors are now becoming mainstream in all markets and it brings benefits even to the average computer user. This 22" beast is huge and allows you to see separate pages side by side, for example.
Pros: Good size, good contrast ratio, good colours
Cons: 16:10 not greatest format for films, small dead pixel
