Summary: The extra room is very handy for the likes of tool palettes in Photoshop, leaving a good space for the actual work. Picture quality is good, provided you sit square in front of the monitor - probably as good as can be expected of a TN panel. The "Natural Colour Pro" set-up is similar to Adobe's gamma, and is worth going through for best results.
Summary: It's a Samsung so it must be good, and it is! I have another Samsung monitor, that one is a 22inch. Sio when the Benq let me down there was really on one choice, did I get a 22 inch Samsung or a 24 inch Samsung? I have other Samsumg products and every one is brilliant. Can't fault this one either, great picture quality, nice and bright, its just that good.
Summary: I have had this monitor for a while not and at first I loved it. The image, when set to full brightness and default resolution is vivid and satisfying. There are, however, a lot of other problems. It wouldn't work at full resolution with my new laptop, even though it worked fine with my old one (same brans). It appears that the digital information built into the monitor that tells the computer what resolution to use is incorrect, and there is no way to flash it.
Summary: Bought this almost 6 months ago. And am impressed with it. But.....there are flaws that need to be addressed. Which you should consider carefully before buying. 1) There is a humming sound when the brightness is below 97. Other buyers have noticed this aswell. 2) If you play a PC game that "forces" a resolution below 1920*1200 then a silly box states "not optimul Resolution" BE WARNED YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! And the screen will go blank after a few minutes.
Summary: This monitor is an absolute bargain. The setup is quick and easy, don't know about the previous complaints regarding the stand (it took me only 2 minutes to get it in right). The quality is crisp. I have a mac and a HP laptop. Tried them both and they both work amazingly. No problems with the wiring, they provide you with a DVI and VGA cable. I checked both slots and even thought DVI is better the quality on the VGA is unspeakable.
Summary: I have owned this monitor for a few months and I am fairly pleased with it. Unlike others, I didn't have any difficulties fixing the stand, so that wasn't an issue. The brightness and colours are OK, but it's true there is a yellow cast in most applications (Windows pictures is particularly bad). I do a fair bit of photo editing and I will now have to purchase a monitor calibration tool to adjust for this. The other problem is the the base / stand.
Summary: A lovely screen and top notch product. A friend came round and advised me that all the features were compatible with my MAC PRO and he was right. A beautiful screen and good value. I would recommend this.
Summary: Got this as a second monitor for an iMac 24". Have both on 1920 x 1200. Works perfectly, looks great. Connection very simple, just 'plug and play' really. One point, the Samsung software does not work with Mac, however do not really feel it's required. Samsung standard buttons control control menu easily. Also, no real problems fitting base-plate. All in all, very pleased with it, picture fantastic.
Very good monitor, one flaw for me may not affect you...

Summary: The picture is great and when the display is connected on the DVI cable from my PC everything is flawless. But I also have a Mac I need to connect sometimes via the VGA input, and I wanted to plug them both in and use the input selector to switch betwee the two computers. Unfortunately my Mac can't produce an image 1920x1200 at 60 Hz which is the native resolution for this display, or rather it can but only on the DVI out, not on the VGA.
Summary: This monitor is certainly a bargain for the size, but is not without flaws. Mine (purchased elsewhere, and returned) had the following problems: * Viewing angles - these were sufficiently narrow that there is almost no viewing position from which a colour difference across the monitor is not obvious; even sat directly in front of it. When viewing from below the level of the screen, dark areas wash out very quickly, making darker movies almost unwatchable.
