Summary: I really like this monitor. I have three of them. I prefer this form factor. Its more square than rectangular. I was unable to find a store than carries them and had to go on the internet to find them.
Summary: I already had a 204B sitting on my desk and I wanted a dual display setup. My natural choice was to get another 204B, since the resolution 1600x1200 is not offered by any other manufacturer. I like the wide screen and great height, less scrolling on long documents.
Summary: My 17" CRT monitor died. This 20" full screen LCD monitor takes up less deskspace, but allows me to see more rows of data when in spreadsheets. Not as much glare from sunlight streaming in the windows. Online and magazine reviews of this monitor were very positive and I'm reaping the benefit of the experts and user feedback which helped me select this monitor from the thousands out there and available at good prices on E-Bay, Kijiji, Craigslist, etc.
Summary: Bought this to match the 204B work provided so I could have a dual-head display. I tried going with a cheaper unit, but the thin bezel of the 204B and the *matchingness* of it is super cool. Nice resolution, color, everything. And the unit's original box is nicely compact, for such a large monitor.
The best monitor I have ever owned, stunning picture quality

Summary: I am a very critical monitor user. I have all kinds of monitor adjusting and testing software. I need to see the correct color rendition and temperature for scientific purposes. I take digital pictures, and the screen MUST look like what my camera sees. I use this monitor for highly critical picture editing. There are no stuck pixels, no problems whatsoever. The picture quality on this monitor is amazing, stunning. And it is fast rendering, quite good for gaming.
Summary: I bought two of these, so far so good. I do a lot of spreadsheet work and like the squarish format over widescreen, I am able to open 4 to 6 spreadsheet windows and place them all. With a widescreen, the vertical placement is difficult. I used them at work for hours on end, really comfy on my eyes. I am glad I got them. Am a bit leery about the problems mentioned, but so far so good.
Summary: I bought one Samsung 204b a year and a half ago. 6 months later, I bought another one. I've been 100% satisfied with both. They're simple, streamlined monitors (i.e. no speakers, built-in USB, cameras, etc.), but that's exactly what I wanted. I have the two monitors connected to one computer, and rotated to portrait mode. See the "customer image" that I uploaded.
