  • Summary: Grabbed this on a surprise sale sometime ago for 500$ range to replace a 3x1 Eyefinity setup with 3 24" panels lost a lot of virtual desktop space but gained much more in desk space very impressed with the inc 3d game app( TriDef 3d http://www.tridef.com/) always new profiles on the user forums for new games that last till the next app update would recommend the display to others even at the current 700$+ price tag just one word of warning Nvidia users go elsewhere this...
  • Pros: 120hz refresh, 2D-3D upscale, Constantly updated 3rd party 3d gamming app (TriDef 3d), Thin Frame and light weight, ATI optimized
  • Cons: only real complaint is the OSD menus for 2d-3d emulation

  • Pros: Really love this monitor when I'm using it =D Big, clear, colors/colors are A+ =), 120hz for gaming (I can never go back to 60hz, 120hz is just basically seeing your enemy or not seeing your enemy ;)(60hz))
  • Cons: About $500 AU, but worth every cent =)

  • Summary: Overall: works with all the games i got. other than the annoyance of switching the 3D mode its great!
  • Pros: Brilliant colors. 3D is great! works well with basically everything! the monitor even works with the PS3!
  • Cons: Eco motion sensor doesn't work correctly for when I'm gaming on it bugs the heck out of me! Annoyance having to switch the monitor into 3D mode. wish it did it automatically.

Excellent monitor

  • Summary: Excellent, though expensive, monitor that will make most any other monitor you use look horrible.
  • Pros: Excellent monitor, works out of the box as advertised. 3D feature is easy to use, just push a button on the monitor, helpfully labelled "3D" It's a Samsung. so you know it is going to be a quality screen
  • Cons: power saving feature with the motion sensor is useless. The monitor is large enough that I'm sitting out of range of the sensor. I'm not a fan of touch controls that Samsung has taken to using. I'd rather have tactile buttons. Glossy screen is very reflective when the background is dark

Very pleased

  • Summary: I would highly recomend this monitor solely on its size and refresh rate. The picture is a amazing upgrade from my old 22" acer monitor. The 3-D conversion works fairly well, with the exceptions mentioned above. I would buy 2 more for surround gaming if i had the money!
  • Pros: -120 hz - 2d-3d conversion of anything - 27" size is awsome
  • Cons: the tri-def software does not work with nvidia cards worth a crap. It is really only meant for ATI cards as far as i can tell. On some games the 2d-3d conversion meshes some high contrast textures together which can be annoying. One nice thing about using the 2-d to 3-d conversion is it does not require any extra horsepower out of your graphics solution as nvidia 3d vision/ tri def does.

  • Summary: The ultimate screen for a user who has high demands when she plays (fps games and others), caterpillar with graphics, watching movies AND who are picky in terms of product design. It's a really neat piece of furniture in the home, and after diligent searching, I can not find a more perfect screen than the Samsung S27A950D. That it can handle 3D for me is just a plus, although I not a direct fan of 3D-film/spel. My advice if you have the money: BUY!

  • Summary: One gets what one pays for. The colors, the brightness, the uniformity of the light. The difference between calibrated and uncalibrated is negligible, so in other words you get actually almost 100% correct colors out-of-the-box. Inputlag? Nope. Trailer Covers? With state of the quickest and 120Hz - Certainly not. The only minus getting it for 3D function (TriDef) on Nvidia cards. A bit like that with it, but when it works it really adds 'WOW' moment.

  • Summary: I can only give a rating, ie full marks! This must be the best image on a 27 inch monitor. Thought first buy Dell IPS but when I saw the picture of a buddy did I ask it now. The colors in this glossy 120 Mhz screen is clearly much better and darkness beats Dell Ips by a long way. Jag kan bara ge ett betyg, dvs full pott! Detta måste vara den bästa bild på en 27 tums monitor. Tänkte först köpa Dell IPS men när jag fick se bilden hos en polare la jag ber det direkt.

  • Summary: Really good screen, the colors and everything is just fine. 3D'n is really good. Better if you have ATI then you can use the Frame Sequential. Nvidia does it work only with side by side. It will be very good in the game but you can not play blueray. However, you can play blueray via PS3. The only minus, and unfortunately this is harder than I had hoped for. 1080p on 27tum feels like very low resolution. You can move behind the screen part.
