Summary: Such an expensive monitor should not have any dead pixel. Because of this only 2 eggs. I had some LCD monitors already and this is by far the most expensive one and the first one with a dead pixel. Made for ATI cards!!! Check what connections you have so that you can use 120 Hz.
Pros: 2D to 3D conversion with good results, glasses not heavy, no problems with my prescription glasses, good colors, I like glossy screens
Cons: 1 dead pixel almost in the middle of the screen, 3 D still gets a bit too dark for my taste and the colors get washed out, some bleeding, expensive
Summary: I went from a 24" to this 27". The picture quality was so inferior to the Gateway HD monitor that I had to send the monitor back. I spent 6 hours trying to get the color, gamma, and setting to look real but nothing would make this monitor work.
Summary: if you had nvdia don't get this one, this is design for ati user. this monitor is glossy screen, is heavy glossy, great for movie and games, but terrible for text and picture edit. not sure is the ati fault or the monitor, too much ghosting issue from many 3d games.
Summary: I switched to this screen from a 27" iMac. Quality is no comparrisson. Apple screen seemed like it was 1000's of times better. As I am typing this, the letters on white webpage seem like they are floating around just a tiny bit.
Pros: Great appearance, ultra slim design, touch controls are great on the base.
Cons: Bought this display with a HD 6870 2GB Graphics Card with display mor to go with it. Display did connect at the promised 120Hz, but not only 3D was too hard on the eyes, even the 2D picture seems like it is flickering badly. Screen looks like almost every pxel shifts or flickers, puting a huge st...
Summary: If your graphics card does not have a display port, be prepared to purchase an adapter for it. Also, regardless if your GPU has the display port you still need to purchase a 1.4 high definition hdmi cable. A regular one will not be able to display in 3D. You must have both cables connected for 3D.
Pros: Very nice picture with 2D.
Cons: Had a lot of cable issues with the 3D. It only comes with a display port cable. The radeon 6970 does not have a port for that, and it comes with no adapter. I found a local retailer with an adapter, and I'm going to purchase it tomorrow. Hopefully it works.
Summary: Like I said it's a great monitor but you just need to research and make sure it is compatible with your setup before you purchase
Pros: The design is very nice and the screen is large and looks very clear
Cons: 3D is incompatible with Nvidia cards. I RMA'd it after a week because you can only get 3D through the display port and Nvidia cards do not have that. You can't even run it in 120hz in 2D. So if you have an Nvidia card and you want to try out Nvidia 3D Vision BUYER BEWARE when it comes to this mon...
