Not wall mountable!

Anonymous, Newegg
1 June 2012
  • Pros: Great picture, excellent color, no ghosting. Looks great at 1080p.
  • Cons: Not wall mountable. Apparently Samsung had a vesa wall mount compatible adapter, but it is no longer available. The monitor also does not have a negative tilt value so you cannot tilt it down, only back. Since most LCD panels today are wall mountable, I thought it was a very stupid choice of Sams...

Good display - but everything else is bad

Dopamine Ranger, Amazon
3 April 2012
  • Summary: The picture is great but everything else is bad: - The monitor was equipped with HDMI and VGA connectors. Described as "options" the quick start guide offered 4 video cables covering all the HMDI/DVI/VGA combinations - but only the VGA-VGA was present .. and this was useless with my Macbook Pro.

User Review

Kevin F., Newegg

  • Pros: This is a very nice monitor if you can get it to work for you.
  • Cons: My first monitor started blinking after 1 month. I returned it to the store from which it came. The new one started blinking after a week. I isolated the problem and went through every variable I could think of. No luck. I don't know what the deal is but there is very little documentation about i...

Nice Monitor But.......

Robert D., Newegg
24 February 2012
  • Summary: It is a shame either due to a design flaw or maybe just a bad monitor. I had a Samsung t240 and was extremly pleased with it, but why have a monitor that can not be fully adjustable to my pleasing. Sorry Samsung but this is going back.
  • Pros: Nice clear monitor but very bright. Can not adjust backlight area in setup menu area is grayed out.
  • Cons: Back light area not adjustable, grayed out. I contacted support and they told me that some computers will not allow a back light adjustment. I have this extremly high end system and can not believe it can not be adjusted. My original monitor LED was adjustable. So this one is going back and grtti...

  • Summary: I was really looking forward to installing/using these new monitors. Very nice looking, thin form, light weight monitor, however, I have just returned both of these new monitors for credit.

How could they do this?

Ajay D., Newegg
31 August 2011
  • Summary: Samsung, give your designers a pat on the back, having spent over 20k in Samsung products in the last decade you deeply hurt a huge fan with your cheap cost cutting.
  • Pros: Nice sized monitor, led backlit for a good picture.
  • Cons: No DVI, which is quite poor design and business decision Worst of all NO VESA MOUNTS! I can't believe this, every third rate monitor manufacturer has VESA mounts on their displays, and Samsung previously had VESA mounts on all of their tv's and displays, so who would think that they would complet...
