Summary: I have an Asus 27" monitor which is great for videos, etc. but is too big for everyday work, so I purchased this Samsung 23" monitor. Am disappointed with it because it defaults to a yellowish color which is hard to adjust out. Also, I do not like the 16:9 aspect ratio, it is too wide.
Pros: No dead pixels, comes on quickly. Has display port which I had planned to use later. Adjustable height, tilt and swivel. Includes cables.
Cons: Not as bright as hoped. Can't get the right color balance. Sound is awful, but who uses built-in speakers anyway.
Display quality good, but internal speakers not working

Summary: I received my new monitor and the display quality is phenomenal. However, after several attempts on my own and an hour with Samsung support, the integrated speakers did not work. As a result, I'm returning this monitor.
Excerpt: In looking for a new monitor I was torn between TN and IPS screen types, but the PLS screens from Samsung give you the best of both worlds; accurate color reproduction, wide viewing angles and fast refresh speed. The S24C650PL gives you 1920 x 1080 resolution that looks great for movies, games or big...
Summary: The Samsung S24C650 is 24-inch, 1,920 x 1,080 resolution monitor has height adjustment and pivot, and there's a smart USB hub (you can put in 2 plugs) is built into the base as well which is not a deal breaker but does make life easier.
Summary: Monitor with good color accuracy, nice essential design, but made with cheap plastic and, most important, backlight bleeding on two sides. Very weak speakers with horrible sound. I would not recommend it.
