Summary: A 23 inch monitor died after many years usage and I purchased two of these. One extra for a spare. Both monitors are washed out which makes eyestrain a big problem with viewing. I attempted adjusting to remove this problem but nothing worked.
Pros: None that I can think of
Cons: I have 19 Samsung monitors in my business and have always bought Samsung without question due to their very high quality.
Cons: where do I start..it came with dented box and it seems somebody drop it. Viewing angle is really bad. very bright faded at the bottom and top but the middle part of the screen is darker. the capacitive button is hard to find in the dark. Don't buy this monitor its a joke, never thought samsung would built a something like this
Pros: Newegg's delivery time, price (does not include actual value)
Cons: The consumer reviews warned me but I was a fool to think they weren't well-founded. I will never buy a Samsung monitor again. Their Magictune feature has never worked since they offered it back in the days of Windows 2000. It is quite a chore trying to use the "available 2 second intervals" while trying to adjust the monitor to your needs like brightness, contrast, etc. Their manual may be in 20 different languages or whatever but it is ridiculously brief and never ad...
Summary: I can barely see the touch controls on the bottom right hand side. Not a big problem, but I needed a flashlight to see the controls for use while configuring.
Pros: I have NO complaints w/ the quality of the monitor after configuring the Brightness / Contrast / Sharpness to my taste (75/75/76).
Cons: Even though the colors look fine to me, an argument could be made that they are not super vibrant – therefore if you are buying the monitor primarily for games, video, or photo editing, then perhaps this monitor is not for you. However, I would not call them washed out (especially when you turn down some of the brightness).
Pros: I bought this monitor to replace my 20" Acer, which I had for about 7 yrs and a very reliable montior until the power amp went out due to lightening. So far this Samsung has lived up to the name and is quite impressive. The led screen initially took some getting used to but I have been quite pleased with the performance and look. If this monitor can last 7 yrs like my Acer it would be great
Cons: Horrible Viewing Angles, Cannot adjust the monitor angle (this is the worst part, it's angled down for some reason, so you need to look up to it to get the best view, which only really works if the monitor is up on some form of stand on your desk.
