Summary: Gorgeous out of the box. Super crisp text, lots of pop. I am coming from a same-sized HP TN of some years' service, so this display technology is two or three jumps ahead for me. Hard to believe the two monitors have the same resolution.
Fortunately the monitor survived the rough internal abuse from the ...

Summary: Refurbished display gorgeous. Delivery swift from FL to Bklyn NY. Item packed with minimal but significant cushioning cradling the display in an a fitted carton marked refurbished in Mexico. Sealed box unevenly balanced with item moving when position shifted.
Summary: For an LED PLS monitor, this is a fantastic value. I use it for both work and play, and it does a marvelous job of it. The base is sturdy and the monitor will not wobble.
Pros: I bought the monitor specifically for the 16:10 aspect ratio, which is rare (16:9 becoming the "HD Standard"). No regrets for shelling out the extra money. The "eco" function which detects ambient light and adjusts the brightness accordingly has three sensitivity settings. I keep my sensitivity o...
Cons: I dislike how flimsy the buttons feels. However, once you get the initial setup out of the way, you hardly ever have to touch the buttons again (I just leave my monitor on, in standby mode, when I am not using it). The menu itself could use a proper human-machine interface specialist to look at i...
Summary: I've read people saying that the monitor has issues with light bleed, but for me personally, I haven't seen anything of the sort on either of the two I now own of this model. Still, worth considering before purchasing.
Pros: I just ordered my second one of these to replace a different, older monitor. The first one I bought over a year ago and absolutely loved, so when one of my others died, naturally I went and bought a second one of these Samsungs. It's 1920x1200 16:10 with vivid colors and fast response time, and t...
Cons: The stand is pretty easy to adjust on accident, which can be annoying if you accidentally bump the monitor.
Summary: Great Monitor Good quality picture, super thin display. Really love it. Currently have it attached to a multi-monitor stand that attaches to my desk. Don't know why, but cant wear sunglasses and look at it though; screen disappears.
Summary: Newegg has this monitor listed as a 16x9 1920x1080 display, but it's actually a 16x10 1920x1200 display. Good thing I did my research before buying or I wouldn't have bought this monitor. Here is the link If you want the actual specs on this monitor.
Pros: This thing is nicer than the 24" Dell ultrasharps. ultrasharps are LCD this one is LED. I'm not going to list all the advantages of LED, if you need to know google will tell you. Anyway it's a PLS witch is samsungs version of IPS (feel free to look into it). It's a 1920x1200 16x10" monitor. It's ...
Cons: The only thing I would change is I would make it a little stiffer to raise, lower, and turn on its side. I'm OCD and if you bump it you can shift it to where it's not level too easily.
Summary: I am extremely hard to please in terms of monitors. I have sensitive eyes, and I make software - so lots of text. I've tried apple cinema displays, dell ultrasharps (24" and 27"), Eizo's, HP's, etc.
New favorite monitor, energy efficient, but can be too bright

Summary: I've been using the Samsung SyncMaster SA850 for a few weeks. I've been using the Samsung SyncMaster 245BW for a few years. The SA850 replaces the 245BW as my favorite, so here I will compare the two. They are the same screen size, and I drive them both via DVI.
STILL the Best Monitor I've ever owned-Bought another one

Summary: I reviewed this Monitor last January(2012) and I REALLY liked it then (see below for previous comments). Recently I experienced a failure of the display ( wierd Bands of colors and "tracer Bullet trails" showing through the background).
