Very unreliable monitor... Quality has declined!!!
21 November 2013
Summary: After 11 months of regular use, I had a vertical line of permanently turned on pixels. Luckily it was still under warranty and I had it repaired. Another 11 months have gone by and the monitor has stopped working. It senses that it is plugged into a computer, but no image will appear. I tested out different cables and know my output source is working. I purchased this monitor November 2011 and it stopped working almost exactly 2 years later.
Summary: The monitor tilts, but Samsung failed to provide any instructions specifying it does. The quality of the image is horrible. Using it at it max resolution for Word and Excel, the letters and else were just blurry, not sharp as others monitors here at work. After losing more than 1 hour tweaking and adjusting the settings I gave up. I just used the monitor for one day and returned it after doing research and reading the customer reviews at various sites.
Pros: None .
Cons: Light bleeding from the bottom of the screen., Blurry image at max resolution., Feels cheap (plastic)
Summary: stopped working after 8 months... for the 8 months it was a great screen at a great price, ands thats why i didnt give it 1 star. brought it somewhere and they said my graphics card need to be updated.... but that should have burn out the screen. right? who knows. i only buy samsung products and this have never happened. peace...
Summary: This TV was great for 2 years, then went bad. Now it still works but the picture is very dark and next to useless. We can lighten the picture somewhat by tweaking the adjustment, we have to dothe tweaking EVERY single time that we turn it on. And the picture on HD channels look like the analog of old. The customer service tried to help but was useless because it was out of warranty. Definitely cannot recommend. I'll avoid Samsungs from now on.
Good display, rickety-borderline dangerous- support stand.

Summary: Very good image for the money, crisp for text, good for video and photography, certainly excellent in that respect in its price class. But the stand is completely inadequate, in fact it is so poorly designed as to be dangerous to have ones' desktop. One tiny screw adheres the monitor to the base, and if that screw should start to lose its threading (as happens when you remove the monitor from its base several times for shipping), you then have a monitor that is...
Summary: I bought this monitor based on the reviews and after setting it up, I discovered it had a fatel flaw for me: it was only 13.5 inches high on the screen. THAT means, old guys who want to double the size of the fonts cannot do that well without running the text off the bottom of the monitor. It is wide enough.. it is not high enough. Amazon supplies height information.. alone.. amoung the online vendors. (Scroll down to the tech information). BUT..
Summary: I purchased this item about month ago and had it for about two weeks until a bright green line showed up on the right side of the screen. I was hart broken because of my past with Samsung I learned if your not buying top of the line it's most likely to somehow break on you. This is why I only would recommend buying Sony products because you know from bottom to top of the line it's going to do what it's supposed to do(I know this because I also own 3 Sony Lcd's).It...
Summary: The picture is clear, but for a monitor, it is missing a couple of standard items. The stand does not adjust, one positon, leaning forward, that is it. I have to use cardboard to get it to the best position. No optical input, it has HDMI and VGA, but no optical.
Summary: The box says PiP, I thought that would be great for my desk. Multitasking. Works ok as a monitor or a tv, but PiP only works with cable/ant in. Why have a hi def tv/monitor and have to connect it to cable. There is no PiP button on the remote either. I have contacted samsung support 2 times in the last seven days, no response. I will not recommend this to anyone who wants to use it as advertised.
Summary: I tried using this as monitor. The image quality was VERY pixelated due to all of the image compression software Samsung has packed into this thing. I turned off all of the image adjustments and the quality did improve by not by much. Can I say it again just to make sure that you don't buy the T23A350 and use it as a monitor--This makes a terrible monitor! Looking at images, colors seemed to be average; however, darks were washed out and showed no detail in some spots.
