Summary: The following is copy of conversation between Samsung tech. support and me after one of the two I purchased fail exactly after 12 months, I purchased these monitors to use with my laptop on June 2012, On September 17, 2013 one of them wouldn't come on, this monitor comes with 12 months warranty, unless you want to pay to fix it yourself after that 12 months don't buy this product. when contacted SAMSUNG technical support, the following is how our conversation went.
Summary: 18 months of trouble free service is all I got out of this. Numerous older LCD's still working. Never trust Samsung again. $120 charge estimate (could be higher) not including freight and a new monitor is $130.Samsung advised me to contact local repair shop- they said it was not worth opening up and they would recycle it NC- best deal of the day.
Summary: I order this March 1st, 2012. Received it March 7th, 2012. Now re-writing this review August 27th, 2013. The first few days I had it, I fell in love with it. The touch buttons can be a pain to get used to, though it is possible. I am still currently accidentally pressing the buttons when messing with the USB Hub right under my monitor. Though after a year and a half of using it, I still love it.
Summary: The product is billed as a HDTV/ MONITOR but has little to no tv capabilities. No speakers. Had to purchase a adapter to hook up my gaming system at which point it works only in black and white. Expensive paper weight.
Summary: I would NOT recommend buying a used monitor by this manufacturer. I bought a brand new Samsung SyncMaster SA350H for $199.99. Assembled in Mexico. It was decent while it worked. Died (would not "recognize" any signal, would not bring up menu, etc.)after 15 months of moderate use. Conveniently (for Samsung) out of warranty. Samsung offered "repair" but, of course, at my expence. It did cost me about $0.44 per day of use.
Summary: I purchased this monitor from this seller, and not only did I spend countless hours trying to set up, but it never actually worked in the first place. I have another monitor exactly like this and was trying to set up dual ones, so I know when one works. After talking with multiple IT and help desks, they said it was defective.
13 months of use... stops working and conveniently out of warranty.

Summary: Purchased this 11/24/2011 from Costco. One day after Thanksgiving 2012 the inputs stopped working. Now I have this pile of poo on my desk. Between this, the Galaxy S3 phone that cracked under normal wear and their continued lack of support for Google Prime content over their "Smart" Tv products, I think my honeymoon with Samsung can be declared dead. Cheap, cheap, and I can't trust them.
