This is a eulogy. No one will read this, but I wanted to say a couple of words.

Summary: I probably won't buy Samsung again, despite really liking this monitor for the time it functioned.
Pros: ...for my dearly departed. This monitor was great for 3 years, then the DVI processing went out. It still works off of the VGA, but for my purposes (gaming, design, photo editing) its basically dead. I'll probably give it to a friend to play xbox on if we can find the right adapters. Pros: Nice p...
Cons: Served it's purpose for 3 years then digital processing died. Its a shame because everything else still works, just won't accept DVI. I guess I expected my first LED monitor to last forever. 3 years was too soon. The stand kinda sucked, but it did tilt a tiny bit, and happened to be at the ergo h...
Pros: Monitor looked great. it did seem slightly washed out, but wasn't bad enough to complain.
Cons: from the time of me writing this and when the monitor actually went bad is quite a while ago. I might have this review mixed up with a gateway monitor that i had bought. Though it doesnt change the review in the since that the gateway that i had bought ALSO died about a year into it. Only differe...
Summary: I had an existing Samsung S23A300B monitor so I wanted the exact same one for a dual monitor setup for a desktop. I'm a developer, so screen real estate is necessary. I like the wide screen layout this monitor offers - with a great resolution and low flicker rate. Its an easy set-up.
Summary: I bought two of these screens for a good price. One thing i want to make note is that the power conection from the ac power adapter did not come with one of the screens. That was eratating but quickly fixed by purchasing a new ac adapter. Other than that its been a good experince.
Summary: Not sure about some of the negative reviews on here but I have been more than happy with mine. And it does in fact tilt :) I was worried about that when I first ordered it but was happy to learn after putting it together that it did tilt.
Good monitor started to die at month 14 (register your monitor for +3 months to warranty!)

Summary: Good solid monitor for 14 months and then a day or two ago the VGA connection wouldn't light up the monitor. Windows 8/Geforce 240 VGA could detect and identify the monitor as a SyncMaster SA300/SA350 but the monitor stayed black.
Summary: What can I say - no complaints! - The picture is just as clear as any other TV in our home, including our main TV. - The size makes it very convenient to take with us when we are going to be out of the house (such as the garage or camping) and want it for game systems or something.
