Summary: I bought this monitor based on a previous good experience with Samsung (model 204BW). However I made the mistake of buying a lower end model and now realize this was a bad choice. I knew it was VGA only, but the connector is always loose and regardless of the cable chosen the picture is fuzzy. The menu system is difficult to navigate and the touch controls are finicky. The monitor responds poorly to native PNP mode resulting in image truncation to the left or right.
Summary: Monitors are monitors, but Samsung makes great ones and it looks stylish in my home office. I didn't have to install any software or do anything special. It was essentiall hook them up and they work great with my Dell docking station. I did have to buy a DVI to HDMI cord for $5 off Amazon to go from the docking station to the second monitor since Samsung does not have a DVI input on the back. It worked great though once I had that.
Summary: I am not a game player, but do photos, etc. This monitor is great. A good value, the stand is fine for my desk. Although more height adjustment would be nice. Other than that I would buy it again.
Summary: great for gaming. has the right screen size for where I sit at the desk. good wide angle view can see the whole screen, eyes do not have to do a lot of wondering in order to focus on certain spots.
