John B., Newegg
5 February 2013
  • Summary: quit
  • Pros: Clear picture - until it quit!
  • Cons: I purchased two of these monitors and used them daily at work. BOTH went out within 1 week of the other less than a year later. BAD!

Great picture but screen marks easy

Steven N., Newegg
12 November 2012
  • Summary: I will never buy a screen that is like this ever again.
  • Pros: The Picture is amazing. Two eggs only because the picture was amazing. Newegg < is the best with shipping and delivery, I received everything 1 day faster. >
  • Cons: Be careful with cleaning as the screen marks easily and now my screen looks terrible, I am about to just throw it out so i do not have to look at it again. I will stick with my ViewSonic 22" all day.

  • Summary: She is truly a beauty. Very nice looking monitor! Sleek and a very sexy red tint to it, which really makes it look a bit more professional. Bright, smooth, and no problems! HDMI is a huge plus for me (I like using it better than DVI).
  • Pros: -Bright -Pretty -Light -Thin -Fast -Smooth -HDMI
  • Cons: -No DVI (this is minor)

Joshua K., Newegg
29 April 2012
  • Pros: If you’re in need of a super powerful display for your computer at a discounted price then take a look at this! This Samsung Syncmaster monitor with a large 21.5-Inch full 1080p High Definition display for the best picture quality available. LED technology means this monitor is super thin and off...
  • Cons: No DVI... NONE! SVGA or HDMI connections

Very nice monitor

Jericho M., Newegg
7 April 2012
  • Summary: There's no option to select specific inputs, but not completely necessary with only 2 ports available I suppose.
  • Pros: This monitor's display is fantastic, and it's settings are also very helpful for finding the right sharpness, color, and brightness.
  • Cons: Somewhat odd looking LED discoloration on the right side at certain angles, makes white look brownish. Barely noticeable, though.

Good monitor, nice color, can't complain

Aaron S., Newegg
23 February 2012
  • Summary: The only thing I find strange is that it uses HDMI, but has no speakers, but I knew this going in, so not a con. When using with my laptop, I just had to redirect the sound back to my laptop speakers through sound management, but only had to do this once, as Windows 7 remembers.
  • Pros: Works great, was inexpensive, HDMI and VGA, all I need.
  • Cons: None

Good screen more or less

Clayotn F., Newegg
3 February 2012
  • Summary: Factory settings are really bright. Adjusting the settings easily fixes any brightness issues. No headaches. Tbh I'd rather have a 19" square screen for gaming but my screen died and good 19's seem to be on their way out of the market or something...
  • Pros: This screen is quite large, larger than I anticipated. The visuals are very smooth and crisp. The settings are also very customizable especially with the Nvidia control panel. Backlighting stops all issues I had with sun glare; perfect for gaming. The screen tilts vertically with a small bit of s...
  • Cons: Does not come with an HDMI cable so add the price of an HDMI to the cost for this screen. Also my videocard only has 1 HDMI port so I won't be adding a dual screen to this setup any time soon. The screen itself is embedded about .7 centimeters into the sleek glossy frame thus the frame itself ref...

Terrible Customer Support !!!

David K., Newegg
2 February 2012
  • Summary: Even Dell overnights ANY of their products to me for free both ways while in warranty !!!
  • Pros: Great picture just as on any Samsung product
  • Cons: Monitor broke after 2 months of use and it is costing me about $30 to get it repaired in warranty !!! Samsung does not provide box for shipping nor they do an advanced exchange. As much as I love Samsung products and as many as I own, this is the last Samsung monitor I will ever buy.
