Summary: this tv was an excelent purchase wish i had got it sooner. got my pc pluged in and at the press of a lit LED i can switch to TV. had it for over 5 months now and the quality is very good and sharp. good purchase for a small room like bedroom.
Summary: I bought this primarily as a a monitor for the xbox 360, with the option to have other inputs in the future. I will only be reviewing the Xbox functionality here. After a lot of experimentation I can definitely say it works best if you connect via the VGA connector. (the one that has a computer monitor connector and two phono plugs)...I used a phono to mini jack adaptor to input the sound to the TV, these are very cheap to buy.
Summary: This is just the ticket as a monitor/tv. The buttons are a bit Krypton factor for those of us that don't read manuals :) The only problem I has was getting it to display PC(vga) at 1920x1080. I tried several different PCs(laptops and desktops) with completely different graphics cards. It would do 1680x1050 fine but not native 1920x1080, where the picture would look like it had been shrunk and then horizontally sliced and shunted around.
Looking for a DVB TV and monitor? This is an excellent, though pricey, choice

Excerpt: I've been looking for a while for a multipurpose monitor that could be used with my computers and to watch the occasional program on TV. My apartment is not big and wasn't willing to pay a lot for a gigantic plasma screen but at the same time I new that the days of my CRT monitors were numbered. Finally after a lot of browsing I found the perfect solution.
Summary: I thought it would write this short review and hopefully it will help some people out when they are after using this TV as a monitor for a mac. The TV is generally good, I use it as a monitor for my mac and with my xbox and of course a television. The television and using it with my xbox if good quality and is what you would expect. But when using it as a monitor for a mac, this is when I came into a bit of trouble.
Summary: works well, nothing to complain about other than the backlight isn't distributed around the LCD screen well enough, you get some spots on the screen which have been backlit more than other spots which can get annoying.
Summary: I messed up with not having an aerial in the room it was meant for but still very pleased. Crystal clear, decent enough sound and able to switch between pc and ps3 easily. Although the onscreen controls look a bit fiddly, I use the remote. Cool noise when it switches off if you're into that kind of stuff. Just remembered, UK power cable supplied was faulty otherwise would of been 5 stars.
Summary: The Samsung P2270HD is a very stylish TV/monitor. The highly polished surround to the screen has touch buttons and an attractive transparent stand that makes it a beautiful addition to any room. If you are using the screen for computer use and are hoping that the screen will rival a monitor (without TV) of a similar price then you may be disappointed.
Summary: So far so good, apart from one or two technical hiccups such as getting the monitor to work with my lap top, which I'm sure my son will sort out. I believe that having a TV and monitor all in one will solve several problems, not least, space.
Samsung P2270HD - Does not have AV IN as in picture.

Summary: Bought to use mainly as a monitor and to use for the Wii; Both have been met well. The picture quality is crisp. Not using the full 1920 x 1080 now due to video card limitation of my old laptop but its already a great improvement. Photography is a hobby and I shoot with a wide angle lens most of the time. The pictures look much better with this wide display format. As for colour; I believe in calibration and I have not done that.
