and I think it's excellent. A brilliant monitor for gaming
19 December 2014
Summary: I've had this monitor for 4 years, and I think it's excellent. A brilliant monitor for gaming, I even had a 27 inch Asus MX279h delivered yesterday because people said this IPS panel is much better in terms of image quality, and for gaming use.
Summary: The con listed is a tiny annoyance that is probably meant to keep less tech savvy people from inadvertently picking the wrong input port and being frustrated. It is only a minor annoyance and I can understand why it is that way.
Pros: I have had this monitor for two years now, the colors are vibrant, there is no washout at the edges. The contrast is amazing and I have never had any issues running even the most recent games at the highest settings, it takes anything my video card throws at it and displays it beautifully. I firs...
Cons: The tiniest annoyance is on PC start up it cycles through the different possible display inputs until the one you have plugged in begins sending data to the monitor. I would only suggest being able to tell the monitor which input to wait for and not cycle on it's own everytime.
Summary: Works great with: - Cooler Master 360 case - ASRock 870i Cafe board - HIS 6570 1GB video card - Crucial M4 64 GB SSD - Seagate Barracuda Green 1.5TB HDD - G Skill Ripjaws 8GB mem - Nexus 430w PSU
Pros: - Great picture - Works great with various computers I'cve tried
Cons: - The menu controls kinda suck, but not worth docking an egg...you shouldn't have to use them that often anyway. - The power supply runs quite warm to the touch and this makes me a little hesitant, but great so far!
Pros: Its LED (low power consumption) very thin. 1080P (1920x1080) and it has a 2ms respond time, which is awesome. 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port and a Audio out port. This display has the highest quality and all the right ports and was at the right price. Currently have it connected to PS3, 2nd monitor for...
Cons: Does not have built in speakers. although that is not a issue for me.
Summary: This monitor does tilt. You just have to assemble the monitor. After that is done, set it on a table, grab the sides and tilt it up or down. Doing this will leave oil on the shiny black frame. Just wipe it off.
Pros: The monitor works well for it's purpose. I use it mostly for watching videos, editing photos, and sometimes gaming. The quality of still pictures are very good. The colors were off at first, but after using the ColorMunki, I got the colors looking exactly like my other monitors.
Cons: There seems to be a green lines when the picture moves too fast. I'm not sure if this is because of the video card. I'll be getting a new video card soon. Maybe this will fix the problem. Also the buttons are easy to press when moving the monitor. Maybe it would have been better to put the button...
