Cons: Purchased two and now owned for 3 months. One works perfectly but the other just developed a single line down the right side of the screen. One pixel in width, straight up the screen from top to bottom. It's a pinkish/purple color
Summary: I have DirecTV and use software (DirecTV2PC) that lets me watch recorded DVR content on my PC. The HD picture on this monitor is very nice! I use the BX2231 to watch a game from the DVR while I do "real work" on the old monitor.
Pros: Picture quality; no dead pixels; ease of set up; low power consumption (LED); multiple inputs; comes with DVI to HDMI cable (and a VGA cable).
Cons: With provided stand, cannot change angle of screen relative to desk - this probably kept me from a 5-star rating. Also, for me, a pair of built-in, 2w speakers would have been nice - I don't listen to music that way, just want to be able to get basic output.
Summary: Noticeably lightweight out of the box. Runs so cool, there are no vent holes in back. Picuture quality it outstanding for playing games. Touch controls always turns it off when I adjust it. With HDMI cable you can use audio out from monitor.
Pros: Lightweight, puts off no heat. Viewing is crisp & bright, excellent viewing angle. Thin border. HDMI input and associated HDMI audio out.
Cons: Easy to accidentally touch off monitor. No height adjustment, tilt only. No HDMI cable, but has HDMI to DVI.
Summary: If you are disappointed in this monitor, you have to be picky!
Pros: Read the list of Specs, this is the list of Pros for this monitor (period!). This replaced a 19" Hanns G (1440x900) and the difference is night and day. I love this monitor and it was on Sale on Newegg (out the door under $160 and free shipping). The price was excellent for a 21.5" Samsung! The p...
Cons: buttons are easy to bump and change setting, input, etc.., but this is probably due to my setup and not really a con of the monitor.
Summary: If you're doing professional color (print, film, etc )work you shouldn't be looking at this class of monitor anyhow. Don't pay attention to the people who say the monitor doesn't tilt.. it does I have 3 of these in a triple-header setup, which is pretty nice..
Pros: Great color reproduction for this class of monitor... Very thin depth, thin bezel produces no discernible heat! very sharp, running 3 off of HDMI (using the included DVI to HDMI converter)...
Cons: a little light bleeding around the frame a low quality (difficult to accurately adjust) stand, but it does the job
Summary: This is my first full HD monitor and I'm super impressed with the price/performance of it.
Pros: This monitor is great. It looks amazing and has a very clear picture. I use it for both 360 and for PC gaming. It has audio out which is nice, I only need one speaker set for both machines. Cheap, great response time. 1080p. Samsung, can't go wrong.
Summary: Bought this to replace an 8 year 17" NEC LCD. It's huge compared to my old monitor yet weighs half as much. Out of the boxed it looked very washed out but by reducing brightness and gamma and increasing contrast it looks very nice.
Pros: Incredibly lightweight and thin, Lots of adjustable settings, no dead pixels, no noticeable backlight bleed, LED, HDMIx2
