Pros: This is one beautiful monitor. No, it is not LED and I think I am glad of that. The color and grey scale plus white level appear much more accurate than some LED monitors I looked at. The pixel density is incredible on this monitor and the colors just pop. This is right out of the box with no adj...
Summary: I dont play with my screen much so I'm not really worried about the base being limited to about 30º of vertical pivot. No tilt. The frame is glossy and takes a little getting used to the "touch" power button, but my TV is touch as well so I was prepared!
Pros: I like pretty much everything about this monitor. Really sharp images...vibrant colors. The white is more true white instead of that mauve color that you usually see passing off as white. I hope it goes on sale again!
Summary: The magic angle technology is awesome, the screen doesn't tilt but there is no need. The picture does indeed stay the same no matter what angle ur looking at it from.
Pros: Awesome. Base is very solid. Plugged it in and off we went. Very bright, awesome definition. 23"!!! It's huge! I paid 180, which I still think is a steal even though its even cheaper now. A real beauty. Reliable and warranted. Doesn't get better for the price.
Cons: I don't care for the texture on the back of the screen. It's all wavy and ribbed. But who's looking at the back of a monitor?
Summary: There are keys on the monitor but use the remote to adjust the pic on this one. I downloaded the latest driver from Samson support to get the latest version and found the setup rather straight forward. I drive it with a sat receiver and one netbook and one desktop for the PC connection.
Summary: As the other review said the monitor does not look good over vga, but on dvi/hdmi this monitor looks awesome. It is very easy to calibrate with the included software but one thing I would not do is turn on dynamic contrast because this is a cclf monitor it does not do it well.
Summary: Its just great. It is difficult to locate the touch sensitive power button in a dark room, so I just taped a little white paper circle so I can cut if off in my computer room without turning on the lights first!
Summary: Really happy with the purchase great value for such a big monitor. 5ms refresh is good for games and not too expensive like the 2ms model. The non-button power button is weird feeling and takes some getting used to but is not a big enough draw back to knock the monitor.
Summary: I've been using this monitor for a few months with business related applications, web browsing, DVD watching and the occasional game. It's being driven by the VGA and HDMI ports. Pro: Overall, image quality and performance is good.
Summary: I don't have a TV - no cable and my location is too remote for reception over the air - but I do have DSL and I needed a monitor to watch programs/movies over the web and via the DVD drive on my laptop. I used to use a 19" Hitachi LCD monitor, which was kind of small.
