The Samsung 943NW is a 19" 1440 x 900 resolution 16.7 million colour, 300 cd/m² ANSI lumens, with a contrast ratio of DC8000:1 (1000:1 typ.). Its response time is 5 ms. The viewing angle is 170º / 160º (horizontal/vertical) with video input signal via analog RGB, separate H/V, composite and SOG synchronization signal via a 15 pin D-SUB connector. It has a power consumption of 34 W with a standby power consumption of less than 1 W. The monitor has Plug & Play DDC 2B capabilities, comes with MagicBright3, Off timer, Image Size, Colour Effect, Customised key, MagicWizard & MagicTune with AssetManagement, Windows Vista Basic, Safe Mode (DownScaling in UXGA) features, is Mac compatible, has a VESA 75 mm wall-mount option and comes in either black or silver. The monitor measures 439 x 368 x 185 and weighs 3.8 kg. It comes also with a stand that can tilt.

The Samsung 943NW features 5 ms fast response time, is designed to be wall or arm mounted with the VESA wall-mount, has DPMS (Digital Power Management System) intelligently monitors the conditions of the display use and uses less than 1W in stand-by mode. The SM943NW is economically and ecologically friendly. It also features MagicBright3 that provides optimal combination setting for the various contents in the user’s working environment. The user can control the OSD with a mouse.
