If given the choice, I'd stick with my 19 incher. That extra room makes a difference, and I don't have any reflection problems, and the SyncMaster 900SL is only gently curved and doesn't create enough image distortion for me to care. But the 900SL's more than $AU840, and the 753DF's less than $AU530. At that price, it's a bloomin' bargain. Recommended. Read more
I just bought this monitor to replace a 15" monitor on my secondary machine. The Samsung Series SyncMaster 753DF-T/T 17" was the one I finnaly set my sights on after a night full of looking at reviews. Samsung today is the market leader in displays and so was very good back then also. The monitor displays excellent colours and is very bright. The colour doesn't diminish when the refresh rate is increased which is a good sign that the monitor has high specs. The only problem I had with it was that the... Read more
This is a relatively old monitor by today's standards, but compares very well with modern monitors I've seen. Since I was so struck with this monitor on my desk at work, it was GIVEN to me as a performance bonus. He,he! Read more
