Summary: I don't like to review electronics right away. I want to know they are going to last. So many things are not quality. Samsung makes a fine product and did not disappoint. I am very pleased with the quality, color and size of my monitor. It seems to be standing up well.
Summary: I have had this monitor for over 3 years now and it still looks as good as it did the first day I bought it. Great resolution and contrast. I actually used this to watch movies on through my computer when I was saving for a big screen. Love this monitor and recommend it to anyone needing a monitor.
Summary: I bought and used this a little over a year ago from a local electronics store to go with my MacBook desktop set up. Overall I am very happy with the performance this monitor has given me. The 1080p resolution is sharp as ever coming from a regular outdated LCD monitor.
Summary: Picture quality is good. No complaints. However I hate the soft touch controls. First, the buttons' markings are very faint in a dim room. I can't see them at all on the black panel. I have to put a spotlight on them to see them! Second, the buttons have no nudges or edges of any kind.

Summary: Overall, this is a good product that works well. That being said, be forewarned - you must use MagicTune to configure monitor settings (brightness, contrast, etc.). As of today, there is not a version of MagicTune for Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.x).
Summary: I replaced an old Dell 19-inch CRT monitor with this 24-inch Samsung widescreen LCD and have no major complaints. The CRT actually had a clearer picture but the size of screen compared to the amount of space it takes up on my desk is a definite advantage for the LCD.
