Summary: Purchased this monitor and lasted a few months, filed a warranty claim and only after A LOT of fighting for the seller/manufacturer to honor the warranty, they sent a replacement. The replacement lasted another 6 months. Contacted them again, but they said the original warranty was expired.
Summary: Wonderful monitor, great resolution, solid build quality. Have had mine for about 5 years with zero problems. Also really like the fact that it has a fully adjustable height and angular tilt, so can get it to a perfect ergonomic setup.
Summary: I have owned this monitor for about 6 months now. I run a dual monitor setup that includes a Samsung 244T which is about a year and a half older. I hear many people talk about the difference of the viewing angle between the two and how it makes a huge difference and that they have to move their...
Summary: Primarily, I bought this widescreen monitor in order to be able to watch European DVDs, and I'm very pleased with its performance for that and the other more utilitarian reasons for such a purchase. Samsung is a great brand that gives value for the money.
Summary: The picture was very nice, and avoided the over-saturation problems many monitors have. But the monitor refused to go higher than 1680x1050 resolution. The configuration information in the monitor was burned wrong, with data from the 22" monitor.
Summary: Great product. Color is outstanding. I run two screens and side-by-side the 22" monitor can't hold a candle to this one. Standard installation. No speakers unless you order additional add-on but my separate speakers do the job.
Summary: I purchased this monitor to replace a 17" Philips monitor that I was using and am glad I did. I was using dual monitors: one 20" Samsung SyncMaster 213T and the 17" Philips 170S. I purchased the Samsung 245BW to use as primary and use the old Samsung 213T as the secondary monitor.
