Summary: I've had this monitor for 3 years now. I got it on sale at a major retailer years ago during some crazy sale. Pros: - thin bezel. I run multiple monitors and thin bezels results in less space between displays.
Summary: I purchased this monitor and it worked great for a while. Then it stopped working. Would only show a white screen with some streaks. Did some research and it seems that many people have had this problem. Some of the capacitors in the monitor are defective and have to be replaced.
Summary: This monitor didn't even make it two years in our house. Weeks ago, the screen started flickering randomly. We called Proview customer service, where we were told it was the video card on our computer, not the monitor. That wasn't the case. It was the monitor!
Summary: I had my Proview monitor for ONE YEAR and it worked great...then it started acting up: The screen remained blank (black) and it took numerous restarts OF THE COMPUTER (since I couldn't see what's going on I had to hard reboot). Well, that went on for a while; now it won't work at all.
Summary: I got this monitor from "Staples" for about two hundred dollars to replace an ancient and bulky 15" CRT. After about A year, it is running as it did when I first hooked it up. No Visual distortions, no noises, no adjustment problems.
Summary: I recently bought this monitor because my CRT went bust. I like the monolithic and simplistic look (I have the black version), the OSD is easy to navigate and use, and the monitor works as it should, with no noises or dead pixels. The picture is free of distortion, flicker and geometric errors.
Summary: I recently purchased this Proview LCD screen and the clarity is amazing. It competes with models twice as expensive. I compared the floor model at a box store with other LCD's and decided to save some money and see how this model would work on my MAC and PC. I am not disappointed.
Summary: I was hesitant to buy into the LCD monitor market at such a low cost (...fear of poor resolution, poor contrast/lighting, etc.), but have no regrets now that I own this ProView model! I compared it side by side with others twice its cost, and found no significant differences.
