Summary: I have many monitors both at home and the office, pc and Mac. This is far and away the clearest one I use. It is the perfect size for spreadsheets and page by page comparisons. Who would have thought, just a year or two ago that you could buy a 27 inch monitor for $260.00?
Pros: Owned several 27+" monitors. 3 Hanns-G HG281D, junk, all failed within 1-2 years. 1 ViewSonic VX2835WM, DOA, RMA'd, yellow cast to screen after ~5 years of very light use. Two Samsung P2770, OK color, 1 had defect that caused concentric circular color distortion at bottom of screen. Hated lack of...
Cons: Not 1920 x 1200. I wish this trend had not developed, but what are you gonna do?
Summary: I wouldn't buy this monitor again, but don't regret buying it the first time. I'm going to stick with ASUS unless I find something better for a better deal
Pros: 27" monitor, got it on sale
Cons: not very customizable with the options. I have a 21.5" ASUS monitor that's a year older and has about 3x the amount of options if not more, so if you're someone who likes high customization on your monitors, stay away. Only had 1 dead pixel after about 5 months of ownership and it's only noticeab...
Pros: -same as in last review from dec.2011 -watching movies isnt so bad in terms of viewing angles, if its just you. Ive tried to be happy with this thing, and i didnt have to try very hard. the picture is great, especially in HD resolutions.
Cons: -one dead pixel after 3-4 weeks of owership. did not get through newegg so i could not return it with only 1 dead. Ill deal... -the inability to tilt the monitor down even a smidgen -I wish i could change sharpness when in 1080p. -no remote still sucks. navigating the menus and finding the right ...
Summary: This monitor was a little bigger than I originally wanted to get, but it was worth the price. Few minor complaints, text shows up, but it just doesn't look right. Some parts of letters are thick and other parts are thin, but I'm getting used to it.
Summary: If not for the stuck pixel basically out of the box I would have rated this monitor much higher, as the color and brightness are some of the best I've seen. I expected the speakers to be bad, but not that bad.
Pros: - Cheap - Lots of connections - Bright - Good color fidelity - High refresh rate - Small footprint
Cons: - Got a stuck pixel (which couldn't be fixed) within the first two hours of use (returned and replaced without issue so far) - Noticeable bright spots along the edges from the back light - Poor blacks - Speakers sound awful
Summary: I absolutely love this Monitor, Its huge it trumps my 17inch was placed beside it. The color is vibrant out of the boxed although I had to make a few change in the menu to further personalize the contrast as I am always slumping in my chair which make it difficult to see the screen(My Bad!).
Summary: I bought this monitor last September to replace my three year old 21" Dell LCD monitor. The price is great for such big screen. I am mostly pretty happy about the monitor. The only minor problem I had was: some times, when I push a key to woke the computer up, everything on the screen was fuzzy.
