Summary: First of all, it is only getting a 4 star rating because it doesn't have an hdmi port. I just feel like all monitors should now. But really, you can't go wrong with this price for this size screen and quality. I'm using it for a dual screen system as my second monitor. It is sharp, bright and hasn't given me any issues thus far! Installing was super simple and I really couldn't ask for much more. Thank you, Planar! Will definitely be purchasing more from them!
Summary: I purchased this monitor about two weeks ago and so far, I really like it. It has clear and sharp color. The only downfall is that it does not have height adjustment. To make due, I use a stack of books! It's well worth the price.
Summary: Although I had not been familiar with the Planar brand, I am now, and will be buying more of their LCDs in the future.
Pros: 1080P resolution, sharp colors, clean image, well packaged, LED backlight. The frame is nice as well, and the tilt is sufficient for most uses. No dead or stuck pixels. Very good value for the price.
Cons: Minor: Only a VGA cable in the box. Would be nice if both were included. Absolutely not worth knocking a star off for that.
Summary: ... because this is more of a 3 1/2 star item here. First off, the price was good - $112 for a 22" high def monitor is pretty decent - and from straight on, stuff looks very good on it. Back-lighting is even and bright, and the colors are nice and vibrant. The problem comes up when you drift off to the side and everything starts turning yellowish -- something my 22" high def TV set never does.
