Summary: Arrived safe and sound. I bought this as a gift for my tech savvy husband and he LOVES it. Crisp, stellar resolution and an overall must-have for anyone that spends a significant portion of their work-day in front of a computer screen.
Summary: I purchased an Acer Computer that did not include a Monitor... I ordered this monitor as the monitor for the new Acer computer. The Acer came with a VGA connection port and does NOT have a DVI port... But this Monitor is DVI (and HDMI) and does NOT have a VGA port... It seemed as if the 2 items would not connect as the acer has no DVI connection port & the Philips has no VGA port...
Summary: I was hesitant to pick up a 21:9 UWS monitor after reading numerous articles about the lack of practicality in their design, but looking at my specific needs, I decided to go against that chatter and purchase one anyways. Well, I'm here to tell you, it does NOT disappoint. Movies and most games can benefit greatly from this wide angle view, as well pulling up multiple documents, side by side or editing videos and what not.

Summary: It was working fine, but I every time I booted up my computer and I always saw a big fingerprint on the black screen. I was tried to clean it, but I was on the inside of the screen. I wish whoever put this monitor together should have worn their gloves.
Summary: This monitor replaced three 22" monitors at my desk. The size, beauty and style of the Philips is amazing. Colors pop, whites are bright, and the black level is deep. The power on light is white and very small, barely notice it at all. The supplied connectors are a must to use. The DVI-D dual link cable provides enough bandwidth for resolutions up to 2560x1600 pixels and allows high speed digital video transmission up to 9.9 Gbps. Not all cables can support this monitor.
Summary: This is a gorgeous display by itself attractive design with no dead pixels. However, the monitor is not recognized using hdmi, and can only work with a dual-link adaptor. When hooked up with dual-link adaptor, the text looked just horrible. I tried a lot of stuff online However, the montior seems to work very well when hooked up to my PC, so I guess avoid if you have a MBP retina.
