Summary: This monitor is fantastic, I read alot of positive reviews before purchasing this and I wasn't disappointed. It's a very solid, good quality LED monitor that produces a fantastic, sharp and colourful picture. I use this on my xbox and have experienced no issues and have nothing to complain about. What I really like about this monitor is the audio out mic port that allows me to use headphones when playing on my xbox.
Summary: I spent ages reading all the reviews and ordered another make only to find it was such a good deal it was not available - I waited weeks then cancelled the order and got this one - a tad more money but a nice screen - yes the speakers are tinny but who expects speakers built in - useful though for general skype and web use - but not your itunes library.
Summary: Decided to go for HDMI monitor to go with my new computer. I'm sitting here transferring over from old machine to new one and the screen is noticabably brighter. My only negative - and its fairly important from my perspective because I picked this monitor specifically for its inclusion of speakers - is that the sound quality out of them is poor and tinny. I was hoping to remove separates speakers from my desk as another reviewer indicated.
Summary: Nice Screen, Sound a bit Quiet, No HDMI Cable, but does come with an adapter for one of those fancy new multi-media sockets. I am using this and this seems to be working well. It feels very wide to sit in front of, so I have stopped maximising the working windows, but I can retreat to the sofa and watch TV fine.
Summary: I actually purchased this monitor from ebuyer almost 3 months ago. Prior to owning this monitor, I had an LG E2250V for 16 months (22" LED monitor, 3 yrs warranty, also from ebuyer). I recently got into gaming back in March (I am hooked on mass effect 2, played 14 times now!). I wanted to upgrade to a much larger monitor but I did not see anything that impressed me. However, I saw this one and decided to give it a go.
Summary: After spending quite some time researching for a new 23" monitor I came across this Philips 23" LED backlit display. I was looking at about five different brands of monitors and it seemed that every time I found a monitor that had good features, it was let down by poor build quality. The reason I spent quite a lot of time researching monitors is because I don't just need a computer monitor.
Summary: Got this a few months ago and I have to say it is fantastic. High quality and high resolution monitor, perfect for gaming and movies etc. My only peeve with it is that the menu is accessed with built-in touch sensitive buttons in the bezel (don't really know how to explain them properly), which you have to press very gently to use. That aside this monitor is perfect.
Summary: I wanted a monitor with built in speakers to avoid cluttering up my desk with speakers and cables. Options were to buy an LED TV and use it as a monitor or get this Philips 234ELSB. Since I dont need the TV tuner and the Philips monitor was the cheaper option I went for it. Delighted I did. It looks great and works a treat. Crystal clear screen which is easy to adjust with the software that comes with it. It comes with either analogue or digital connections.
Summary: This is a super piece of kit. I waited quite a while for it to arrive but it was worth it. Philips always make good monitors but they have outstripped themselves here. If you are looking for a good monitor at a reasonable price: look no further. However, although the manual (on cd) promises a dvi cable, what comes is a vga cable so you may need to buy a dvi cable before you can install.
