Average analog monitor

dan43, Ebay
10 March 2011
  • Summary: This is a fairly average analog monitor, so if you can pick it up at a good price, and need a cheap monitor, it'll work, nothing special.

Philips 150S Monitor

rachelsstar44, Ebay
5 January 2009
  • Summary: Product works great. No complaints except that it's not really "white" - it's more that dingy grayish color. But it still looks good and functions perfectly for what we needed it for. Thanks!

airgunsupply, Ebay
18 December 2008
  • Summary: This is a high quality LCD monitor, I bought it because I already had two of them and the price on this one was so reasonable. An PDF owners manual was available on the Philips web site.

Great LCD

"ameng17", Amazon
30 September 2002
  • Summary: I bought this LCD because it is ultra thin and light. The small stand fits nicely into my study desk, saving me a large space for writing and reading. The picture is surprisingly very sharp and the color vivid at such a bargain price. I am very happy with it.

Great monitor. Much improvement over a regular 15" monitor

Amazon Customer "axelbay", Amazon
7 August 2001
  • Summary: Although the dot pitch is not as good as a typical monitor, the space that is saved is worth it. Just owning and using it makes you feel cool. Althought the dot pitch isn't that good. New Operating system programs do have capabilities to make it look better with typed characters.

Better than those CRT, BIG BOXES.

Pisces197..., Ciao
15 December 2004
  • Excerpt: Since I work at home, I've had my fair share of these CRT Monitors that make you tired, dry-eyed and suffer from eyestrain (reduces your time watching the screen). Bought this monitor from PC World two years ago; never had any problem with it since.
  • Pros: A space - saving, valuable flat - screen 15" TFT monitor .
  • Cons: Screen gets bright if you're higher than the monitor; gets dark when you're low, balanced when you're on eye - level .

Good picture, more desk space. Great 1st TFT

jamieaker..., Ciao
3 February 2004
  • Excerpt: I recently bought a Philips 150S second hand from an auction site. Getting it out of the box first impressions are a fairly large frame around the picture, but this is made up for by the tiny footprint on the desk.
  • Pros: Good focus and colour definition at a good prive
  • Cons: Doesn't support all resolutions and poor menu system
