Excerpt: As a photographer I spent countless days researching for entry level professional monitor before settling for the NEC. Monitor looks great with no visible light leak. You can definitely see the difference compared to a Macbook 13 inch. My IMac 27" looks good but the NEC P232 shows perfect colors throughout the screen and there are no hots spots and light leaks. like the IMac. The monitor came with no dead missing either unlike Macs.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Excerpt: I bought this for photo editing, my ACD was failing and wanted something similar with a matte screen…shopped around read reviews, etc…this monitor is fantastic…a breeze to calibrate with the included Spectra2 software and puck…my prints are a perfect match to the screen…I am currently using the default settings and feel no need to change anything…I also bought the hood, which I highly recommend.
Excerpt: Professional grade with plenty of adjustments to fit any type of use. A bit more expensive than the average 23inch LCD/LED backlit but worth the extra cash. Perfect for photo or video editing.
Excerpt: My collegue has the NEC PA322UHD-BK-SV 32"and loves it. He uses it for very high end color work and compositing. I decided to follow suit with a smaller version and so far I'm very impressed. Although it doesn't come with the SpectraView software and calabration sensor, the acuracy is consistant with the PA322.
Excerpt: I use this monitor entirely for photography. It does a great job. Previously I had ordered a Dell U2413. That was a disaster. Hot pixels, erratic capacitance switches, bad connectors. Never again. It was returned. This monitor for a few extra dollars is on a different level. Buy it.
Excerpt: I needed a new monitor for editing images and this one is working out very well. It's my first monitor that has not needed significant changes through calibration to be usable (though it still needs calibration). The image quality is much better than my earlier graphics monitor, also from NEC, purchased 5 years ago. This model has a wide viewing angle as well. Certainly the technology has improved.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors, Wide viewing angle
Excerpt: I am serious about color management, and after much (years) of research and study and testing, I have decided to work exclusively in the standard RGB color space, sRGB. The P and PA series from NEC have been factory calibrated to exact color space specifications. In spite of my experience, I do not believe I would be able to achieve the quality of calibration with my X-rite devices and software.
Excerpt: I love this monitor's aspect ratio –for video editing, the fact that it's got a semi-matte surface, not shiny. i also appreciate the fact that the manufacturer caters to pros & that they truly care about their products.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Excerpt: Very impressed with display. Easy to adjust once I figured out it takes two cables attached to the computer (one HDMI and one USB). Clearly stated in directions, which I always read when things don't work as they should. I shoot RAW and this monitor let's me see my work more clearly.
Excerpt: NEC always is known for making great comercial use monitors. They once again have kept that tradition with this 23 inch widescreen monitor, we use it for our photography/design department, and they love the color balance, they find it perfect for their work
Pros: Adjustable Viewing Angles, Great picture quality, Large Viewing Area, Reliable Performance
