Photo's look great but ...

Summary: Photo's look amazing with great color depth and apparent clarity but there's something that bothers me about it when I read small text on a light background. I'm surprised nobody mentioned it in any of the forums or reviews... It is mostly due to the 'sharpness' circuitry and anti-glare filter. Like most anti-glare filters, there is a subtle grainy shimmering color refraction effect on a uniform white or light background.
Summary: The ability to do split monitor screens is a great plus. Monitor was bought primarily to make full use of Adobe CS4. Being to view images side by side is an invaluable aid to work throughput. Purchase of this monitor has negated the need to purchase TWO monitors if desk space is at a premium.

Summary: I have used the NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi monitor for over 9 months and would recommend it to anyone who needs colour management. This review missed out on the essential fact that the monitor is calibrated to used onboard and external calibration software. Both of which I have setup. This is essential for graphic designers and graphic artist for professional print output.
