Summary: Showed up in good working order, the picture is good, and everything looks great. I've had it for a few months now I think, and it's working as well as ever. My one-year-old pretty quickly gouged it with some pipe or pole or something, but of course, that isn't in the rating :-)
Summary: I bought this one refurbished. It arrived within a few days and it looks like new. Works well with analog connection or with DVI. No dead pixels, good colors, good contrast. Let's just hope that it will also be reliable and last long..
Summary: The monitor is very good compared to other brands of similar specs. Very low power consumption, excellent uniformity of picture, great for text. I didn't give it 5 stars because the colors aren't the best and do look slightly washed out. Of course I'm comparing it to my other IPS monitor which is not a fair comparison.
Summary: ...mine had a hotpixel in plain sight, that is something one must accept but it is anoying. I had also the former Modell as first monitor and it was quite hard to calibrate the colours between the two. Other than that my Impression was that NEC monitors allways looked slightly better than LG, Acer, Dell, AOC, Viewsonic, Gateway and other bread and butter brands
Summary: After working on a lap top for work out of my home office for over a year, I finally took the plunge after reading countless reviews on cNet, counsumer reports, amazon, etc. Found this screen to be great at what cNet also realized, which was great versatility in a working environment. Specifically, being able to adjust the screen height and screen viewing angle is great. This and the screens over all ease of use (options) along with picture quality are really good.
Summary: I have been using this monitor at work for a couple months. Solid monitor, good price, picture quality is fine for business applications, on-board speakers are convenient. Stand is very configurable and trustworthy. I am a longtime Samsung monitor-buyer, this was my first NEC, I am pleased with it- and please with the seller, Adorama Camera. No complaints, would recommend, especially at a cheap price (~$200).
Summary: I bought TWO of these monitors. I've been contemplating going to a multi-monitor setup for quite some time. I initially stated with a 24" Samsung BX2440 which was for sale at a great price at a nearby wholesale club. It was almost too big and switching from portrait to landscape mode required unhooking the power cord. My main parameter for my new monitors was good picture, thin frame or bezel and classy looking. Thats what I found with these NEC's.
