Quit on me

Marc H., Newegg
15 March 2015
  • Pros: Seemed to work OK for the first 60 days
  • Cons: Pretty much liked this unit until it went on the fritz only two months into usage. I feel a bit ripped off since I can now not return the unit

It's not really a monitor, it's a TV that can be used, sort of, as a monitor... there is a difference.

  • Summary: I returned this unopened because it was sold as a computer monitor but it's really a TV set being sold as a monitor. Didn't see all the negative reviews until after purchase.Opted for a real 1080p monitor instead.

As far as a TV goes, this thing is great. READ HERE

  • Summary: I originally purchased this as a computer monitor but as the other reviewers have explained, it is more like a TV than a monitor. That being said, I was okay with this since my graphics card has HDMI output. I actually got it to replace a monitor I tried here on Amazon that just didn't cut it. Within two weeks it had dead pixels and the screen would get fuzzy unless you played with the HDMI cords.
