Summary: Excellent product, I primarily use it just as a monitor and nothing else and it works wonders, excellent colors, canon t4i output is HD and the monitor displays it beautifully. I highly recommend the product for anyone needing a larger screen than the live view on DLSR's.
Summary: I purchase this monitor for my ProAm JIB and it works so well with it can't complain. I'm using my Canon T4i works like a charm I been using this for almost a year now no issue batter still works great got over 4 hours of use on and off. Planning on buying a second unit for my tripod cage rig.
Summary: This monitor is great for the money for a budget minded videographer. Even though it doesn't have all the bells, buttons and controls that the more expensive monitors do, it gives you the resolution to frame, compose, set exposure and focus. That is most of why one needs a monitor in the first place. You do have to play with the menu to get the display to match your camera LCD but that is not hard. For HDMI output on my Canon XA-10 it is plug and play.
Summary: Got the monitor to pull focus on my EOS 7D, instead of paying hundredes even a thousand more I did some research and purchased this monitor, works for me, I purchased a sun shade for $19.99 for outdoors and wala, you have a pro looking set up and also a bigger screen to pull focus and monitor for those hard to reach angles.
Summary: I use this monitor only for pulling focus on an HDSLR (canon 7D,and a 5D) when I can't have my eye glued to my Zacuto Viewfinder. Also, for sharing my view with an assistant pulling focus with a whip, a sound person just to see, or a client. It has worked very well for those tasks. It looks sharp live, even better when doing playback, and has held up so far in post production.
Summary: Not a lot of use if you are expecting a hi res screen. All it does is display an HD picture on a Lo res screen so you can't really use it as a proper guide as it is simply too soft. I use it merely to monitor a little action cam with a tiny screen. What can you expect for the money since a proper true HD broadcast field monitor would probably cost a heck of alot more.
