Pros: I've owned this since 2010, and still use it. 2ms response, 1920x1080, decent contrast, great color - about what I'm finding in 2013, though I'm about to upgrade to LED backlit. Love this monitor though.
Cons: The touch sensitive buttons aren't that great, though they are stylish - after the annoyance of using them, at least they're practically invisible. After about 1.5 years, the bottom right corner of the screen became darker than the rest. It's barely noticeable, and I never bothered to look into w...
Summary: Great monitor and well worth the money despite the LG software.
Pros: Excellent picture quality in 16:9 mode (HDMI). HDMI is excellent and the best I've seen on similar size monitors (22"-26").
Cons: The included software will not install with Win 7 (32 bit or 64 bit). The forte manager will load but beyond that forget it. Even LG's website will not load in the recommended drivers they say you need.
what did the five fingers say to the face...SLAP!!

Summary: down to my last bugler and suboxone so atleast i have this moniter to play mw2 and keep my mind occupied unless i sell it lol!!going led next when i kick this habit lol!!
Pros: nice big screen, got it for 226 and change,
Cons: on first attempt to navigate the menu i changed it from English to German and had to get an interpreter to change back lol! na but getting it back to English took a few.1 red pixel 1 yellow egg. i don't care if its to be expected.dont want it you hear egg head! like the touch buttons rather then ...
Pros: This monitor has an amazing picture. Played my ps3 in full 1080p. I have had it for over a year and have had no problems, no dead pixels. Stable as well, stand is sturdy which is good because it doesnt have holes in the back for wall hanging. Got to my house very fast as well. Thanks newegg.
Cons: Minor ones but they are the reason I didn't give it 5 eggs. First was the above mentioned wall hanging problem. The touch sensitive adjustments can be a bit of a pain as well. Neat idea for sure but in the dark can be hard to find. Only vga cable included. All nitpicky though...great monitor, wou...
Summary: I would have gave it 5 eggs if it weren't for the backlighting, and ghosting on moving objects... Is there an LCD out there that doesn't leave ghosts/trails??? 'Touch' controls are a little sensitive.. takes some getting use to.
Pros: + Good size.. ( 24" diag. exact ). not too big, not too small. + Good colors.. ( with many adjustments to ease your eyes ) + Nice software controls (forteManager) with many options! ( such as: tracking - clock and phase ) + No dead/stuck pixels! :) + Decent 2ms response rate.
Cons: - Ghosting/trails behind moving objects.. (though it's better than some LCDs) Is it just me or do ALL LCDs leave slight trails? The response time seems fine, but the dark trails are just something else!....? "why'o'why can't LCDs have the speed of a CRT !?!" - Backlighting not solid.. and it blee...
Summary: I have already reviewed this product once before. But overall its a great monitor, just wish i didn't have 1 dead pixel.
Pros: great monitor, 1 dead pixel.
Cons: 1 dead pixel, I'm a little disappointed that the minimum for monitor return is 8 dead pixels. I suppose I can deal with this, But if i am going to pay $275 dollars, i expect it to be perfect. This is my first problem with LG.
Summary: Good moniter, no dead pixels, packaging was very safe.
Pros: Amazing quality, everything seems SO MUCH BIGGER on this than my old LG 19inch.
Cons: This moniter is KILLING my 8800gtx, looking to upgrade to the EVGA GTX 285 2gb if it ever comes back into stock, seems like ive been waiting for 3 months now. Still haven't figured out why LG doesnt include a DVI cable or connector... ????
Summary: I wish I could get two of these things, but for $300 a piece I'll have to wait a long time in between.
Pros: This monitor is the best-looking monitor I have ever seen. I love the max resolution at 1920 x 1080 and I use it all the time. My games look stunning and the colors are perfect. The touch buttons are really nice and I feel like I'm in a futuristic movie when I use them. They're a bit confusing at...
Cons: Does not tilt. The monitor itself is amazing, but I had to knock off an egg because I can't tilt this thing. My desk sits pretty high and my chair can only extend up so much. I can't see the top-middle of my monitor because I sit lower than the monitor itself. Can't attach this to any wall mount ...
Summary: Not sure if this happened at newegg but someone opened the box. There was one piece of tape holding the opening diagonally, you can see the horizontal tape that was cut. Also the sheet covering the monitor was cut in two places. Luckily the screen was not damaged.
Pros: No dead pixels, nice vibrant colors, high contrast, no "ghosting" when playing games. I found no difficulties with the stand, as long as you screw it in tight its very solid. Nice price.
Cons: No DVI cable, I knew it did not come with one before I ordered but LG should include a DVI cable. Touch button controls are not very intuitive and difficult to get used to. Sometimes its best to try and keep certain things simple LG.
Summary: All in all a good monitor but I'm pretty disappointed about the dead pixel.
Pros: Great colors and contrast ratio. Looks great; sleek, "high tech" look. Decent Price. Unlike other reviewers I think the stand is pretty sturdy, better than most.
Cons: 1 dead pixel. About 4 inches to the right and 5 inches from the bottom, in the bottom right center of the screen. It's bright purple and very noticeable during dark scenes in moves and games, and on black backgrounds. Newegg and LG will not replace monitors with only 1 dead pixel so I guess I'm o...
