Summary: This is a very nice monitor, but the built-in menus are virtually unusable. The buttons are not physical, but touch-sensitive, and they sense my touch when my finger is a millimeter away from the surface. So I get double clicks when I don't want them. What makes this worse is a significant lag between activating a button and the screen reacting, so you touch a button, wonder what happened, then touch it again before it reacts.
Summary: A major upgrade from the 19 inch I had before. We now watch most of our movies on it and it has taken my gaming to a higher level. The image quality is great and the ability to switch style of viewing is handy. Cinema mode is a great innovation and makes watching YouTube videos and the like easier on the eye. However, the forteManager is a little random and sometimes needs to be reloaded to work. The touch sensitive buttons take some getting used to.
PackSaddle Jack, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews

Summary: Purchased a pair to use for photo editing. They work well once you get them set up, but getting them set up is a bear. Designers spent many a sleepless night figuring how to make them difficult. Once they are set up and working DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!! Controls are visible from the front with a flashlight to see what they are, and from then on they're touch sensitive in a bewildering pattern.
Summary: Good monitor, no complaints EXCEPT the controls for it are by way of touch or movement in front of the monitor and it is very difficult to use. Really seems like a cool idea, but the old push buttons were 100X less frustrating!
Summary: I was looking for a monitor with more realestate. As a programmer I need to see the Form and the Code at the same time. I stare at the montitor for hours a day so I needed some clarity as well.
Summary: The LG W2453V-PF is an excellent monitor. Before purchasing it, I compared it online to several other brands. Although the LG monitors aren't as heavily reviewed as other brands, I narrowed my choices down to the this brand and two other 24" monitors. After visiting a store and seeing the all three in action, the clear winner was the LG. Clearer, sharper and with truer colors. And after a few weeks of usage, I still believe that I have made the best choice.
