Summary: I've always thought LG products seemed to have a good picture but now that I own one I KNOW they have great picture quality...when I received my new monitor I plugged it in and turned on and WOW!!! Fantastic monitor for the price. Woulld not hesitate to purchase any other LG products.
Summary: I bought the LG 23 inch monitor as a second monitor with my 17 laptop. I use it to edit video and photos. You can have your editing software on full screen and have more detail to work with. When you need to use help guide or tutorial open it on 2 monitor. This allows you to get more done.
Pros: Actually, mine is 24" version but it seems basically the same monitor. Mine is LG W2453V-PF. I have used several lcd monitors before and this is the best TN panel monitor I have ever seen. Color was pretty acurate out of the box and just little adjust needed. Screen is bright, crisp clear, acurat...
Pros: Awesome picture. Clear, Bright, and looks great. It's a good looking monitor .
Cons: 1. Can't get the monitor to fill the screen with the recommended resolution (1920x1080). I get a black boarder. May be my video card, but attempts to update the driver for the monitor have been difficult. No drivers on LG website and customer support is unresponsive. Forced to run on lower resolu...
Summary: Bought this at a one day sale for $189 very good at that price.
Pros: Light weight, very bright picture, good sturdy base, easy to install. no dead pixels. Watched youtube at full frame rate no blurries. I have a lame vid card but it will still drive this at 60Hz @1080
Summary: Seeing how this monitor is showed as 5ms, there isn't much of a different in movement in video games compared to Asus 2ms monitors.
Pros: Overall, it is a great product to own for the low price. -Wide angle view without much discoloration or distortion. -Great picture quality overall -Nice finish a little too similar to Samsung televisions.
Cons: We always need something to complain. -No height adjustment -Button controls are difficult to maneuver. -RGB seems more difficult to adjust than other monitors.
Summary: If you buy a monitor don't worry about the response time of it, it's a gimmick set out by the manufacturers. I purchased this thinking it was 2ms but it turned out to be 5ms and I got all worried but then I did my research and there is literally absolutely no difference.
Pros: Enormous, no dead pixels, color is vivid from center to the edges, and full 1080p HD makes it absolutely incredible. I tested the 1080p with a ripped toy story blu ray copy and I was amazed. I had a friend with me too and he had never seen anything like it. The contrast ratio on it even makes you...
Cons: -Finger print magnet -slightly cheap plastic around the screen, you can press in on it and it would warp.
Pros: Matches my W2353V-PF nicely. Great display. No dead pixels. Arrived next day.
Cons: The difference between VP and V models are quite small. The only thing I noticed was some menu changes and that the 5-6 little red LEDs on the front of the display when you hit one of the menu buttons or turn the monitor on no longer exist. I suppose it was to save some money. While small change ...
