Summary: This LG monitor is a very nice monitor. BUT, the cord that goes from the monitor to the CPU isn't the standard cable. So, you'll need an adaptor, or a new cable. The company I bought this from, was useless in helping me. The worst tech help I have ever had. The didn't know diddly about the monitor, probably because they weren't LG, just the company selling it at the best price.
Summary: I bought one of these around thanksgiving. I liked it so much I went and bought another within a week, one DVI, one HDMI, and am using a 3rd different and older monitor with an analog interface. The colors are bright, crisp, and clear. Typed characters are also crisp. I would buy another of these in a heartbeat or recommend one to anyone.
Summary: I bought this monitor last minute on holiday because I needed more real estate than my laptop allowed but was traveling and away from my office. I got it for a steal at $160 and am super pleased with it. I haven't been able to see them side-by-side, but it compares most favorably to my home monitor: Samsung 2343BWX 23-Inch LCD Monitor . The LG has nice colors, lots of adjustability, and is easy to set up.
Summary: Great Price, Great plug and play monitor. Lousy stand to rest it on. No tilt adjustment until I started trying different books and props. The screen and controls are great. Just a terrible place for LG to cut corners. I am an easy going guy but this one just made me shake my head. If you want to tilt the screen and have a DVI cable, this is not the one. I had a DVI cable from my previous monitor that came with a DVI(an ACER).
Summary: My wife & I have been wanting to upgrade from our Dell 19" LCD monitor that is about six years old to a larger screen when I got to reading about the newer, larger & cheaper monitors. I found this one and the "LED Display" caught my interest as I have been eying the new LED televisions - GREAT PICTURE. I was surprised after opening the box and looking at the paperwork that this is a "LED LCD" screen.
