Summary: I actually love this monitor. I use it for everything from gaming to photo editing. It has great color, great resolution, and just looks crisp and smooth. I upgraded from a 16" Dell LCD to this and it's like going from an old tube TV to an HDTV. It may only be 19" but for some reason it looks bigger. I actually couldn't believe it was only 19" so I measured it and it was actually 19.5". The only thing I don't like about it is that the mount isn't a standard VESA mount.
Summary: This is a great monitor for use with a desktop or smaller laptop computer. Good color reproduction and solid reliability. I own 3 of these. If you are looking to mount these in a multiple screen application look for a different monitor as these are not VESA 75/100 compliant and will not fit most available mounting brackets.
Summary: I bought this monitor less than a year ago to replace a CRT that finally crapped out after 8 years of use. It's a great monitor as noted by other reviewers. I'm in the process of upgrading form WinXP to Win7(64 bit). When I went looking for new drivers, I found that the last driver file/software (forteManager) issued by LG was over a year ago.
Summary: I purchased this item as a replacement for a 19" 1280x1024 monitor which was twice as expensive and developed a malfunction in its power switch. I ordered this item from [...] via the amazon.com website. Amazon listed the price from Tiger and Amazon simultaneously which made it easy to determine the slightly better price from Tiger. The item arrived within three days of placing the order in pristine condition. The packaging was well designed and easy to unpack.
Summary: I really can't blame the monitor for anything ........the picture quality is fine. The only complaint I have is with the stand. When I received the box and opened it one of the pieces was loose from its molded compartment. As with the multiple other LCD monitors I have purchased, there are two pieces, the LCD and the stand which attaches to the back of the monitor. I looked at this thing for 10minutes and could not figure out how to attach the stand.
